According to Disney, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will be closing June 13th for a short refurbishment. The Cars Land attraction will be closed June 13th through June 16th, reopening to guests on June 17th.

I've been looking forward to this one for a while now and the trailer does not disappoint! I love the retro style intro. This thing checks all the boxes for me with the high adventure, surrealism, retro-future tech, etc. I did prefer it's original name, Searcher Clade, but the title Strange World works with this presentation style. I cannot wait for this one!

National Geographic Filming at EPCOT

While visiting EPCOT earlier today, we saw a National Geographic film crew pulling guests for some video content at the Scentsy Garden that is set up for the 2022 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.

National Geographic has been on Walt Disney World property since at least March as they film the second season of “The Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom”. It’s unknown if the filming today is related to season two filming or not.

So interesting considering the short notice refurb and wall that was erected around AS2. It's probably not related, but I can't help assume because it's basically the same ride.

‘Stranger Things 4’ Features Figment from EPCOT Center Cameo​

A vintage Figment plush from EPCOT appears briefly in the new season of “Stranger Things,” set in 1986.
Figment, wearing his yellow shirt, can be seen in a character’s bedroom in season four, episode six.

He’s visible about 14 minutes and 40 seconds into the episode.

National Geographic Filming at EPCOT

While visiting EPCOT earlier today, we saw a National Geographic film crew pulling guests for some video content at the Scentsy Garden that is set up for the 2022 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.

We saw filming while we were at animal kingdom over memorial weekend on the savanna section of Kilimanjaro safari. I’m hoping it’s for another season of the animal kingdom show on Disney+

When we went on the Rhino tour a couple weeks ago our tour guide mentioned that they are currently filming season 2. Can't wait to watch!

I noticed the same person keeps "angry facing" every Pride post. So sad that celebrating inclusiveness can anger someone.

That's pathetic. If that person is so stongly against inclusivity & what Disney is doing repping Pride etc, i hope they put thieir money where their mouth is and doesn't bother going to the parks, have Disney + etc.

Royal Gatherings Returning to Disney Cruise Line​

Per Disney Cruise Line, Guests are now able to book their reservations for the Royal Gatherings 30 days prior to their sail date and for bookings that sail mid-July and beyond. For Guests cruising in a concierge stateroom, the booking window will open between 30 to 45 days prior to your departure.

Royal or Princess Gatherings invite Guests to spend one on one time with their favorite Disney Princesses. While the Princesses on hand at the Gathering will vary, past appearances have included:

• Belle from Beauty and the Beast
• Aurora from Sleeping Beauty
• Rapunzel from Tangled
• Tiana from Princess and the Frog
• Ariel from The Little Mermaid
• Cinderella
• Snow White

Toy Story Mania Added to Disney Premier Access Paid Line-Skip Service at Tokyo DisneySea Starting June 10​

Following the introduction of Disney Premier Access, Tokyo Disney Resort’s presumed upcharge successor to FastPass, last month, a new attraction will be joining the roster for guests to pay to skip the line. Starting June 10, guests at Tokyo DisneySea can also purchase a spot aboard Toy Story Mania in American Waterfront.

The attraction was quietly added to the Disney Premier Access list this afternoon. The service charges ¥2000 ($15.05) per guest regardless of day or age to skip the line for Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast at Tokyo Disneyland and Soaring: Fantastic Flight at Tokyo DisneySea, with Toy Story Mania joining the roster on June 10.
