2023 Dapper Days

So far, 2023 has four Dapper Day events on the schedule:

• April 15th and 16th: Dapper Day Expo at the Disneyland Hotel
• Sunday, April 16th: Spring Outing to Disneyland
• Saturday, May 13th: Spring Outing to Disneyland Paris
• TO BE ANNOUNCED: Spring Disney World Outings

NEW: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Space Mountain, and Everest will remain part of Genie+ LL past Aug. 7.

Cosmic Rewind, Rise of the Resistance, Mine Train, and Flight of Passage are the only Individual LL attractions.

Glad to see this be a permanent change. If Frozen and Remy went back to being ILLs, there would be absolutely zero point in buying Genie+ for Epcot.

Not surprising IMO but good news, they needed to provide more value for G+ and spread things out, particularly for AK and Epcot. Fully expect Tron to be ILL when it opens, but maybe this opens the possibility to Mine Train being switched to G+? Would leave each park with one ILL, nice and simple.

Disneyland Cast Members Getting Nametags With “Character” for 100th Anniversary Celebrations

Disneyland Cast Members will be getting new nametags for the 100th Anniversary celebration of The Walt Disney Company in 2023. The new nametags will include the Cast Member’s favorite character in addition to their name. There are hundreds of characters to choose from, but the default selection will be Mickey Mouse. The nametag change was announced for Disneyland Resort Cast Members and Imagineers.

Disney Store in Times Square CMs had these nametags on over the weekend. It caught my eye because the CM we were talking to appeared to be from "Figment". Then I saw another Figment and a Cinderella...

I know I’m in the minority but I have to admit, I’m a little sad Remy will stay on Genie+. It’s so far away from the other rides, I was looking forward to picking a time slot for this rather than going back and forth between the world showcase and the front of the park.
