I logged on to my Disney Rewards site yesterday to put in my codes for Toy Story 1 and 2 on blu ray (and to get my free movie tickets), and noticed that all of my points (about 600) were GONE! What the heck is going on here?
I contacted the site, but have not heard anything back yet. I'm so disapointed. It has taken me a long time to get that many points!
Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, what did you do to resolve it?

don't panic, this totally happened to me too. I think when they switched over to the "new and improved" website it lost everyone's points. I emailed them ( under "contact us") and they sent an email back confirming my email and user info. once I did that and logged in, all my points were back. I'd try that....calling might take too long, but you could try that too. but don't worry, they'll get them back for you. :goodvibes

Happened to me too...gone one day, back the next! Just let them know...I'm sure they'll fix it.

I've usually found that their customer service is pretty good. While not an immediate response, I've always been able to get my problems taken care of. Good luck.

Thank you for the replies. I did email them yesterday, so I'll just sit tight. :thumbsup2

This has been happening alot. There have been a lot of unofficial codes that have passed around the internet. Once you have entered and received points for 10 unofficial codes they delete all your points. So if you've entered codes that you've found here or on other websites, chances are that is why the points were deleted. Many people have emailed disney and had their points restored, but apparantly it does not always work.

There are two different things happening.

In the past, if you entered too many bad codes, your account would be locked for 24 hours.

They have been redoing their website. They have also been streamlining the accounts...some people have somehow made more than one account, OR they are still wanting to sign in with their email address instead of username.

Old, official, real, codes have been posted online. However, if you enter one you've already done before, it counts as a "bad" code.

So you combine ALL of this, and you end up with what seems to be happening. They have started a facebook page, and people there are explaining the username/email address login problem...I believe they want us all to go to username instead of email. So if you're signing in with your email address, you have to switch that.

I think their system is really confused with the locked accounts, b/c people have said that they entered good, not-yet-used-by-them, codes, and had their accounts locked.

To people doing all these things at the same time, from what I've been reading, it can *appear* as though you enter old codes (none of them are bad, just from before) and then your account is locked and drained...but I think it's just the convergence of all the changes happening all at once.

Their phone number is posted all over the place...give 'em a chance to help you!

When I went to "Contact Us", it just gave me send a message option. What is the phone number to call or where is it on the site?

I actually emailed them several days ago and have not heard back... didn't most people hear back pretty soon?

My problem is not that my points are all gone... I can't even get into my account to SEE if I have points. It is not letting me log in to begin with - it says my account is blocked. I assume that is because I entered 10 "incorrect" bonus codes that I found posted on here.

I tried to sign up for a new account and re-enter the Toy Story codes I have, but they obviously can't be used again...

I only have points from those 2 movies and one of the one-time point deals on the site, but I would like to recover them...

Any help?!!! :sad2:

I am having the worst time with their service. I've been trying to get them to resolve my issue now for a couple of months.
I had two accounts - which I didn't realize. One with all my points and one that was sitting at 0. I logged into my point account and changed the email to the other account and now it doesn't recognize the point account. The system can't even find it when I request a new password. I keep emailing them over and over again explaining exactly what I did and I keep getting pointless letters back. Like telling me they could merge my two accounts after I logged into both of them...how can I log into an account the system can't find?
So frustrating.

This happened to me too. I get so frustrated dealing with any of the Disney family websites.

All of my codes have been from movies I've purchased. My problem was when I tried to log in, it said I had to sign up as a new member and then my points were gone. So now DMR emailed me back and said I have two seperate accounts. Unfortantely I still cannot get into my one account. I double checked the password and everything. So i'm waiting for another email back i guess.

When I first went on after they changed the website I had no points as well. When I entered my email address it said I had multiple accounts on Disney sites. I clicked on the link where indicated to see my accounts (3 of them) come up. Apparently any account you have opened on any Disney site using the same email address have now all been combined. I choose which account to use as my primary account and my points re-appeared. Maybe you can do this as well?

Good luck!

I was on the phone on hold for 15 minutes yesterday. I ordered a Herbie three set dvd Jan 6th and it still hadn't arrived. Apparently one of the movies was backordered, but I never got an email or any notification. I took a refund for the points. Not so impressed with the customer service for a loyalty program.

I ordered some Cd's January 20th and I still don't have them. I am not impressed at all. I have emailed them twice and still haven't heard anything.
I haven't been able to find a phone number....I am going to go hunt for one!

Mine all say expired. I didn't know they expired.
I had some codes expire a couple years ago, but I think I got a notification that they were expiring so I was able to use them in time. I haven't had this happen again since so I just went to check the FAQ and found this:

Your points may expire if you have not had any activity for 270 days. “Activity” is defined as logging in to your account at least once.

So if you haven't logged into your account in a long time, that may be why your points expired.

That hasn't been my experience at all! In fact, last week I ordered the Princess & the Frog reusable bag--it arrived Monday!

I still haven't found anything I'm interested in buying. I considered the disc holder, but it doesn't look like it's the greatest quality. I might just get the scooter for my 3 yr old.
