Just so you know, since there was some confusion last weekend, and you said you were new at this. Friday's codes are good for the whole weekend, so there won't be a new code until Monday. It seems the Mon-Thursday codes are 5 points each and the Fri code is for 15 and covers Fri-Sun.

Only 2,000 more points for the MGM tour.

Make sure you have all your proof of purchase tabs before redeeming. I wasted 16,000 points (can't remember the exact points needed but it was a lot) redeeming for the studio tour for 4 and couldn't get it because I didn't have the proof of purchase tabs. They wouldn't refund the points either.

I did it today for the first time I just wanted to say thank you.... party:

Huh? We need POP tags too to redeem? I can't say we necessarily have EVERY receipt, DMR code slip, or POP tag for absolutely everything we've ever redeemed.

According to the terms, under collecting points:

10. Enrollees must save the original official Code document, original receipt(s) and proof(s) of purchase and original Disney movie ticket stub(s), as well as any confirmation email(s) referencing Points credited to their Account, for at least ninety (90) days after the date Enrollee redeems an item online, as it may be necessary to later submit Codes for verification. Sponsor reserves the right to require proof including, but not limited to, the original official Code document(s) and proof of purchase materials. Sponsor's decisions regarding the awarding of Points are final and binding. Validated Codes, original receipts, proofs of purchase or ticket stubs that are subsequently determined to be invalid for any reason are subject to disqualification and the corresponding Points will be removed from the Enrollee's Account to which the invalid validated Points were credited.

So in general we should make sure to keep them for 90 days, but that bolded section is a bit vague and seems to indicate that they can require it any time. But for them to do that at this point for a program that has been running for several years sounds like they may want to get out of actually giving out the big items - which could result in extremely bad publicity for Disney if they did that.

That's crazy! I probably have most of my POP tabs.:confused3 I don't think I did any movie tickets but I wouldn't have kept those if I had. I know I haven't saved the slips that have the DMR # on it. It really stinks that they won't let you use the points for something else.

I guess I'm glad I didn't try to save up that many points and just used quite a few for the 2 Jim Shore statues I got. One was a special offer that was only available one day-maybe even only for a few hours-it was a snowman with the Pooh characters in the snowman's belly. It was 1875 points and has a retail value on the Jim Shore site of $50. http://www.jimshore.com/shop/p-558-snowman-wpooh-company.aspx I also got the Jim Shore Nana statue for 850 points. It has a retail value of $22.50. I'm pretty happy with those. Now I still have over 3,000 points left. I was thinking of the Jim Shore Darling Kids Flying but I'm not sure I really want that one. I got the Pooh snowman because I like the idea of putting it away and only having it out for Christmas. I got Nana because my youngest loves dogs and she will really like this. My oldest loves Poohs and already has a small Jim Shore Pooh I bought in the parks on one trip.

We have every single code slip for the movies we've entered and up until recently you had to send in the movie tickets so they couldn't ask for those since they have them already. I read about the requirement when first entering in codes so we have just saved the slips in a file.

After I redeemed for it, they sent a certified mail asking me to send them in before I can schedule a tour. If you have the majority, I think they might let you but I don't keep cases so I didn't have a lot.

wow, seriously??? 16,000 points for nothing!

So, they wouldn't give you back your points when you didn't actually get anything? I'd be furious. Heck, you may not have any POPs left if you used them for the various rebates that Disney sponsors....and you wouldn't have ticket stubs since we used to have to mail them in ...

Last weekend (F,S,and S) there was 1 code that was 15 points for the entire weekend.

The weekend codes seem to be different. This Fri I had tried combos and couldn't get it to go... I see it here now. But if you can't find the code you can go on abcfamily.com and click a link for it. It takes you to the rewards site, you log in and it automatically gives you the points for that day. During the week I put the codes in since I'm online from 5-6 am and the website (abcfamily) is much later in the day to update but weekends I had to remember to keep checking since they change the format of the code and it wasn't always on here.

The format of the codes seems to have been identical so far:

Monday through Thursday: "dec25XX" where XX is the date

Friday/Saturday/Sunday weekend code: "dec25XXYY", where XX is the Friday date and YY is the Sunday date.

They could of course throw a curveball...

well that makes sense, I just didn't see the pattern (I'm very good at that :goodvibes) I'll try that this week instead of almost missing it 'cause I forgot!!!!!

We went through the DVDs we already owned & found quite a few codes. We have also been gradually replacing DD's VHS with DVDs or Blu Rays. I was really surprised we made our goal so quickly.

Good to know!

Thank you for the warning. Sorry they wouldn't refund your points
