DISney moms of ALL BOYS!

My only child is a son, and I have two grandsons, 5 and 21 months. For some reason, I never had the desire to have a daughter, maybe I was afraid that she'd want to share my stuff. ;)

When my grandsons were born, I couldn't have been happier. My DIL wanted the second one to be a girl, and I can truly say that I didn't! lol They both look so much like their daddy that it's almost like I have my little boy back! I am one happy Gram.
::yes::

My son's first visit to WDW was when he was five. He has been many times since then. We took my oldest grandson for the first time when he was three, and then again this past June when he was five. Obviously, we can't get enough because we are taking him again the second week of September! Five is such a fun age! The little one can be quite a handful so I'm going to wait a while before I attempt Disney with him!

Another MOB here- they're ages 6, 11, & nearly 15. And add me to the club of moms who can't imagine having a daughter! It'd be just my luck to have one just like myself- or just the opposite. Either would drive me batty :teeth: .

Boys are so much easier- especially as they get older. I'll gladly live through the trials of young boys to avoid the trials of teen girls!

I am a mom to 2 boys- 18 and a sophomore in college and 15 and a sophomore in high school. They really do like WDW. This year though we are going to Hershey for a few days so they can ride the coasters. Watching friends with teenage girls, I am glad to have boys! My sons aren't angels and have their share of adolescent "angst" but I think teenage girls are more volatile. They never outgrow the bathroom humor!

buddy&wooz-LOL at your screen name!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very clever!!::yes:: Funny how you called yourself a "MOB". We're all a bunch of MOB's!!!! LOL!!

Snowysmom-I agree with you!

I only have one son (all grown up at age 29) and he is Disney impaired just like his daddy. It must be genetic :(

Mom of two boys........ oldest is 23.."baby" is 20! My 20 year old is Disney obsessed just like his mom. My husband and I are going at Christmas time so that he can come with us since it's his semester break. Normally I would never think of doing Disney at Christmas time but it's the only way we can go as a family. My 20 year old would be "crushed" if we went without him!!!! Hoping to talk my 23 year old into going with us too.

Hi Everybody! :wave2:
Count me in for the boys only club. I have two DS's. The oldest is going to be 20 in Sept., and the baby is going to be 16 in Ded.
This is my oldest son's 2nd year in college, and the youngest in trying to give me heart problems teaching him how to drive.
There was a day I used to yearn for a daughter, thank god you don't always get what you want. After experiencing DS's GF, I don't think I could keep up with girls. I do miss the transformer days. LOL.

Both boys decided we needed to take this summer off from WDW because they were getting bored.:confused3 Here is hoping for next summer.

Welcome to the "club"!! :wave2: :wave2: :wave2:

All of you with boys in their teens and twenties.... I can't believe MY boys will be that age, and probably too soon! It's just funny to picture my boys all grown and maybe taller than me! I am trying to savor these young days as much can, it already goes by too fast!! :(

Another testosterone filled household here! I have three boys: Zane (almost 6) and the twins, Gabe and Finn (4.5 months). Even my dog is male!

I swear I'm painting my bathroom pink and hanging tampons in the doorway to keep the boys out. LOL!

Checking in with three sons, 24, 17 and 15. They have been a joy to raise!!!!:D

Just one son here, 15 months. I'm sure we will have another baby someday, probably be another boy! But that's OK, DS is the light in my life.

Was that too sappy? Sorry!

Almost all my friends have boys, one friend even has twin boys!

Two DS here. My oldest was five in April and just started Kindergarten. My youngest will be three in October. Fortunately they both love Disney. My oldest made his first trip at fourteen months and we try to get back once a year. He is very daring and loves all the rides. We rode Mission Space twice in a row when we were there in March and he would have gone again if I let him. He is very tall for his age and did his first trip on Space Mountain at 3 and there has been no stopping him since. My second son is a little more cautious but wants to be like big brother so we will see.

I would love at least one more and hopefully someday soon I will be expecting number three. My DH and I keep trying so who knows!!

Mom to 3 boys...ages 6,4.5, and 18 months. The other day the oldest and I stopped at Sonic for drinks and a cheer team was carhopping as a fundraiser. I turned to Ben and said "it's really a good thing we don't have any girls, I couldn't take it." Ben replied, "Yeah, that girl stuff is wierd. Who wants to be a sonic cheerleader?"
:teeth:

2 boys here, 6 and 8. They're such great buddies....when they're not beating/wrestling/punching/yelling at each other. I'm soooo tired of the bathroom humor. I'm glad to hear that it's a universal issue. I thought maybe I'd failed in the etiquette department already.
I'm sometimes a little sad that I won't have the buddy that my mom does in me and my sister. Other than that though, I'm pleased as punch every day that I've got 2 boys. I was an awfully mean 13-year old at one point. I don't envy those girls' moms then!

Liz--they do grow very fast. My oldest will be 17 in Sept, he is over 6ft tall. I have had to look up to him for a while now. He thinks its pretty funny, especially since Im only 5'3.
jjskribs--I keep wondering what Im going to feel when we hit our first family vacation without all the family.

One child, a boy.... A BIG 11YO BOY!

I remember my girlfriend telling me once that I was a 13yo boy in disguise... well, Michael has one and a half years to catch up to me!

I agree, I've NEVER been girly so having a boy is right up my alley. My sisters are VERY girly and have daughters, perfect for them. I would rather die than talk about tea parties and princess stuff, me and Mike see things the same way!

We both love cartoons, comic books, rough housing, roller coasters and action movies! As my Mom said, God KNEW what to give me!

Okay I have one more boy coming over to spend the night so that will make 6 for me tonight. Does that put me in tie for the queen position again?? lol
