DISney moms of ALL BOYS!

Oh I am so glad I'm not the only one who will be happy to not ever have a Barbie in the house! LOL!! (All that pink makes me ill!) I was never a girly-girl, and I've always gotten along better with males. So having only boys works out really well for me. :):):)

hrh_disney_queen-I hear ya on the Power Ranger costume!!!! Both my boys want to be that for Halloween, and yes, $40 is WAY too much. I am really hoping they'll go on sale, as I'd bet they will. If they were half that, I think I could swing it, but even then it's pricey. I'd rather spend around $10 per costume...

Oh yes, $10 would be great. Don't bother with ebay, they are going for too much there, and they aren't the same as the one in the Disney Catalog. I told DS that he couldn't wear that one to MNVSHP, because it had those white "things" sticking out on the arms, and he couldn't ride the rides with it on. Who knows, maybe that's even true!

I thought I remembered seeing PR costumes at Walmart last year. Maybe that will be good enough, and I'm sure it won't cost more than $15.::yes::

Here's a photo of my 3, taken in June. Just wanted to share it with you girls. :)

They are gorgeous! Are they always that sweet to each other??

I have 2 sons - 4 and 6. They are at such fun ages right now!! We've taken them to WDW two times and we're ready to go back again! I keep worrying that they will outgrow Disney stuff, but they still enjoy talking about Mickey, Tigger and Goofy. And of course they love Power Rangers. Do you think Disney will ever have a PR attraction at WDW? The boys would love that!!

I'm glad to see so many other moms of all boys! Most of my friends either have all girls or a mix of both.

Do you ever feel left out of some of the Disney magic because your household isn't into the princesses? Every once in a while I do! princess:

Just read that thread about finding decent clothes for girls. I really feel bad for the parents of girls these days. :( I am shocked by what they sell for these little girls!!! I wouldn't even wear a lot of it. I feel like having boys takes the pressure off in that regard. They only wear pants/shorts!

I'm sure you can answer that! ;) But yes, the older two are always sweet to the little guy. They just love him to death, there hasn't been one moment (yet) where they were jealous or rought towards him. My dh and I are very happy with that! They do however rough house with each other and get in little fights all the time. And I'm sure when baby Ben is older, he'll be part of it too. That's one reason why I'd like another boy, so Ben has a partner in crime! heehee

I agree that having boys makes buying clothes so much simpler!! My boys live in shorts in the summer and jeans in the winter! Almost everything in their closets can mix and match, so I let them choose what to wear and we don't have many problems.

I can't imagine having to find the perfect bow to match an outfit. Or the perfect shoes to match!

I think that would be great if there was some sort of PR attraction!! I don't know if they will though.

Oh yes, the Disney Princesses are HUGE right now, bigger than any of the more boy oriented stuff. So yes, not having a child who's into them makes us miss out on that. But, I was never into the princesses even as a little girl! I was into Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo My boys are excited about eating in Cinderella's Castle next year though, obvously not for the princess factor, just for the castle!!

I wish the Disney Store had a catalog that left our all the princess stuff. lol

Im a Mom to 2 boys,Cameron is 7 & Colton is 4. Alot of people say to me "Oh when are you having the girl?" and I tell them when they have it for me. ;) I have 2 nieces so Ive gotten my fair share of girl stuff with them and I dont miss not having a girl. The best part is when we are in public, DH has to take them kids to the bathroom. :teeth:

Your right CamColt. They hate going into the girls room. :teeth:

John would love a PR attraction.

I think Im the winner here--checking in with 5 boys!! lol. Yes I know my name is 4greatboys but we just became the guardians to my oldest ds best friend so now Im up to 5greatboys.
They are 16 (17 in Sept), 16, 14, 4 and 2. No we are not having any more. Im very happy with all boys. I hate it when people seem sad or to feel sorry for me that I dont have a girl
My boys do still have a good time at Disney--we do all the thrill rides for those of us who like them, we do kiddie rides for the little ones. My oldest go to DtD on their own to visit DQ or the guitar store (my oldest, lol). We also hit universal which they like.
We go about once a year (and I try to slip away alone in Dec :teeth: ) to hang with my Disney freak friend!! lol

All boys here too, Mark is nearly 15 (yikes! and amazing since I'm only 29, lol), Daniel is 11, and Michael is 8.

We're definitely done. We were destined for 3 boys as my older brother had 3 girls. I think that's mother nature staying even! I still have at least another 3 boys' names that I love but we could never agree on a girl name. That was probably fate as well.

Sad to say I'm really the only Disney lover. I can still get my youngest in some Disney shirts but the others are just too 'cool' for Disney.

4greatboys-Yep, you are the QUEEN of moms of boys!!! LOL! :) (You need another tag that says it too!!)

disney4us2002-I'm sorry your boys aren't into WDW as much! :( I know that mine could end up the same way, you never know... Which is why we're going to enjoy it as much as we can while they're still little and lovin' it!!

Thank you for all the replies you guys. :) I like knowing there are other Disney-lovin' moms of all boys out there like me!! :grouphug:

Please don't take any offense to this, mothers of Disney girls...
but, I am so glad I have only boys. I would much rather play with cars and trucks than do tea parties...;)

Although, I am sure that if I had a girl, I would be dressing her up like a princess.

[/B]

I think you are right! LOL
I didn't care what I had..but if pressed would have said I'd rather have a boy than a girl-I grew up as the only girl in the family, never was into Barbies and dollies and girly stuff(until I got older and discovered clothes and makeup;) )
Then I had my daughter--and the dresses and the pink and the Barbies and the Princesses etc etc etc came out in full force.
I am a sucker for everything girly for my daughter.
I never would have thought that I'd be that way, but she's a girly girl(with a rough and tumble-ness to her), and I embrace it fully! LOL

I've got 2 boys. Adam just turned 3 in June & Ryan will be one in 20 days (sniff!).

I absolutlely love having all boys, planned it that way. I'm also one of those who always had more guy friends than girls, so I'm more comfortable w/ boys. I'm also glad I don't have to deal w/ the Barbies, princess costumes, nail polish, etc. - and paying for weddings :)

Adam went to DL when he was 11 months, but I'm counting our upcoming WDW trip as the first real trip. He's so psyched to "go see Mickey Mouse".

Mom of 2 boys here. My ex married a woman who already had a son, then they had a son together, and now they are expecting another boy--so they'll have 5 boys between them!
