It doesn't show exact wait times.
It shows posted wait times, which are not exact.
I am a Verizon customer, but I can't get the Disney app because it won't work on my phone.
I manage to live without it and do quite nicely with the Lines app from the touringplans.com people
The Lines app works as well or better than the posted Disney times. I love it!!
if you are a VZW customer you can visit:
m.disneyworld.com
to see it on your browser. not sure it works off VZW.
I have a Droid and downloaded it. Love it. Unfortunately I'm getting rid of this phone and getting an iPhone, which it isn't offered on. So now I'm waiting/hoping they port it over :/
See above on m.disneyworld.com to see it in your browser.
This is a post I did in another thread on the comparison of Lines and MM.

If you have verizon, while the Mobile Magic isn't listed as supported, my phone isn't but it works, you should try that one, if available in the appstore. If not, try visiting: m.disneyworld.com
Not sure if URL works outside of a Verizon phone, but you can try. If you aren't in a park with Mobile Magic, you won't see wait time, its only once you are in the park. It uses GPS location.
I have both Disney's Mobile Magic and Lines from Touring Plan. Since I'm with VZW, I think I get the best of both worlds.
With VZW's MM, you get official wait times, FP return times, show times, etc. that right there, if you are in a park is worth it. You cannot see times, other than FP "Available" or "not available" and a generic "See now" or "High" or "Moderate" wait times if you arne't in a park. Once you are in, you get exact times.
Its only been off 2 times since I first used it with my old feature phone, and the worst it was off was 5 minutes. Once was IASW but it updated within 5 minutes. It hink they just switched the wait time and it didn't update immediately. I walked by it to get a FP for PP and when I walked back, it was fixed.
Lines gives a fairly accurate estimate, more when folks just updated and you can see what someone says the times are. They forecast what the times will be and they've generally been within 5min +/- the times I've used them. What I think Lines is best at is if you don't have VZW, the accuracy then is pretty good. also, if you want to do a touring plan, then they have various options (w/ kids, without, teens, early risers, late arrivals, etc). Also, they have the crowd calendar which shows what events are going on and what they estimate the crowds to be.
I personally use that feature the most for TouringPlans.com, the calendar. Now that I have Mobile Magic, I use that in the parks. If I want to see another park, I switch back to Lines to see.
Another new feature on Lines is that not only can you update their ride times, but you can also time it now too. So when you get in line, when you add a time, you can time it instead. I'd forget to stop once I got to the front, so I just enter the ride time listed.
they are both good apps, each with their own strengths.
