American Idol 2025-The Return Of An Idol

On Easter Sunday,Idol will air a special 3 hour Songs of Faith episode.

I am having a hard time keeping up with Idol tonight.

I keep jumping over to An Evening With Elton on CBS.lol

Two of my favorites are going directly into the live shows!!! I hope some of my others make it as well.

Haven't see much but caught both performance by Slater. They were both pretty darn good songs, kinda have doubts he wrote that first one at 15 by himself.

That was my daughter’s friend the one that sang with the guy from Samoa. She’s so talented we were so sad to see her not make it through. She has a great family with no sad backstory, which is what they love to focus on for the rags to riches story on idol. Sadly I think it’s why she didn’t go to the next round.

The show does seem to have evolved somewhat to not the best singer,but the best singer with the best backstory.

And if the Littrell kids last name wasn't Littrell, I doubt Carrie would have pushed so hard to get him a Top 24 spot.

More than 3/4 of the ones I picked from the auditions made it to the top 24. It's going to be an interesting season, lots of good voices.

Of the 4 sent home,MKY seems to be the one more Idol fans are most upset about.

Many thought he had the talent to be the first Hispanic Idol.

So here in Yuma I have access to 2 TV channels that provide Spanish language... one channel has several talent search programs... with over 2/3 of the contestants from the states... I would think that program would have a better platform for finding talent in the nature of idol and voice
