Disney MGM hours and Fantasmic

On the WDW website it shows the closing time for Disney/MGM as 8pm the night we'll be there(9/28), but then lists Fantasmic as showing at 8pm also! We have a 5:30pm ressie for the Hollywood and Vine dinner/Fantasmic package - I want to make sure this is early enough, and that there will actually be a Fantasmic showing!! The rep on the phone didn't have a clue. Very nice - but saw the same info as me. Is a closing time showing of Fantasmic normal? Thanks!

Yes, unless there are two shows in the busier season, Fantasmic plays at closing time every night.

Yes, that is correct and yes you will have plenty of time to eat and make it to Fantasmic - especially if it is not the busy season.
