Disney messing with magic key reservation availability?

I've been checking the reservation calendar daily for the last two weeks or so, and there was pretty wide open availability except for Fridays and weekends (imagine key) all the way up until yesterday.

I checked again last night and suddenly every single day for the rest of November is now full. I don't know how this could happen unless Disney was messing with the amount of spots open to magic key holders.

Any thoughts?

They continually adjust availability based on demand.

That's why there are different calendars for tickets, MKs, and hotel guests.

But also know it goes both ways, they regularly open up availability for MKs

They stopped selling new Magic Keys today. In the past, they’ve opened up more availability when they’re on sale (probably so that people considering purchasing see availability). So they may have changed it now that they’re no longer selling new ones.

There is also a new buy 2 days get 1 free for Disney + subscribers so it is possible that they reallocated the MK reservation pool to the day ticket pool for the new promo dates 11/18-12/27.

This was my first guess as well. While I think the Disney+ offer must be directly related to slow ticket sales/reservations for the holiday season (and a desire perhaps to get more D+ subscribers), the 13 day fuse will mean people need to be able to make reservations, hence the crackdown on MK reservations.

I expect plenty of MK holders who are blocked out during the holiday season to take advantage of this offer.
