Disney Meet July 15 Allentown,PA. Who's Going?

i definitely think we should try to sit near each other --or at least meet each other! last time i was meeting people..nice but i never talked to them before..wanted to meet the DISers!

How many people are we talking? Can you tell me alittle about the day?

I dont even have a quess to how many people, but it was alot.
The day was so fun--i was workign the registration table so everyone checked in with us--we gave out raffle tickets for some of the prizes and things like that..
you went into the room and there were tablesi n the back for allearsnet.com and pins, etc that you could check out..
Everyone sat down or walked around and talked..then some of the speakers came out, lunch, speakers, prizes--we had a ball!

How about if we bring a green balloon with our users name on it. That way we can tie it to our chair & find each other. A balloon is high up so we can see it. I used to work at the Disney Store & kids would come in from the shoe store with a balloon You could always see where they were in the store.

I'm definately thinking about going. Its about a 5 1/2 hour drive for me but I was going to make a weekend out of it. Trying to convince Kimberly815 to come too! Maybe hit Hershey Park? I've never been there either.

Dh & I were just talking how we have never been to Hershey Park & we are so close. My Oldest DD has been on a few school trips.

I am coming, too! This will be my first Dismeet. My husband will probably not come with me-all our kids are coming home from various vacations that day and they are the wrong ages to bring. Guess I'll be solo and on the lookout for you guys!

Well, Dorney Park is right there, and it has huge roller coasters. They take the Miss PA contestants there every year.

I can't wait - anything Disney has to be GOOD!

How would you put your user name on a balloon? Do you mean have it printed on the balloon?

We definitely need to do some sort of distinguishing thing!

A green balloon from the $1.00 store & use a BLACK permenant marker.

I just hope the $dollar store is open before I hav eto leave. I'm not sure what time it starts.

Can someone give me some more info about this? My sis and I are planning to go this year, we weren't able to make it last year. My sis said she thinks there are events friday evenign too. Is this true? Or is the cost strictly for the events on saturday?

I believe the cost is for the event on saturday,,i could be mistaken...im sure some people stay over Friday night and Saturday night too and make it a whole weekend away....I know last year some were talking about going to DOrney after the meet, and some went the next day

Hi guys!! I'm SO excited for this year's meet! I've been talking to Fred Block (the man behind the entire event!) and there are some really fun things he has planned!

I had an incredible time last year, and met so many wonderful people! I hope to see lots of you there!! This one's gonna be even bigger and better!!!! Come one, come all!!! Come solo (you won't be alone for long, I promise!), or bring the whole family! (there will be events and things to do for the kiddies, too!)

You don't have to be a "DIS'er" to go! There will be people from the DisneyWorldTrivia.com community, as well as may others, including Magical Mountain.net, passporter and more! Plus, there will be great guests, like Deb Wills, Mike Scopa, Steve Barrett, Chris Carlson and more!

I wouldn't miss it for the world! Fred has done an AMZING job of lining up guests, activities, etc., and room and food and hotel itself are even better than last year!

I plan on arriving on Friday and staying until Sunday (last year, a whole bunch of people decided to go to nearby Dorney Park! Not quite WDW, but still was a great time!)
