Disney Meal Plans

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip together to WDW in January. We booked a room on Disney grounds, and are planning a 7 night stay. We have been going back and forth about the meal plan though. Seems like it would be nice to not have to worry about the money once in the park, and to be able to eat well and sample a variety of resturants every day. So, I just wanted to ask anyone who has taken advantage of the meal plan to let me know if you really think its worth the money. Honestly, last time I went to WDW was with my parents back in '98, so I dont remember a whole lot, especially about meal prices, as the money wasnt coming from my pocket at that time.

Just came back December 10th and we used the dinning plan. It was great. It can definitely save you $$'s.
