I am heading to Disney this spring and am going to propose to the love of my life. Any ideas/suggestions as to a really cool/romantic place to do it? Thanks!

You could do a scavenger hunt that puts her at a special place right at the end where you can propose ... I did this (not at WDW). It was fun.

Perhaps somewhere as quiet as you can get in WDW - Possibly end up at a resort ... maybe on the Beach of BC ... or if you want to do it in a park, there is always Tom Sawyers island ... just some thoughts ... good luck.

On the beach by the GF would be nice, looking out at the castle :)
Cheers!

We got engaged at WDW. The original plan was at Epcot over looking the lake right before the fireworks. Unfortunately, my DH was so nervous carring around the ring, he proposed at the hotel room before we got into the park. Still surprised and romantic. WDW is so magical, I believe anywhere will be exciting and memorable. Good luck!

I've always liked the wishing well at the Magic Kingdom. Pass your camera to a nice person there, get ready for the photo and in a rush to make a wish you could pull out some pennies from your pocket, accidently drop them during the picture (thus getting on your knee to find them!) and the have the ring right there...just make sure she doesn't try to help you pick up the pennies!

We got engaged behind the Castle (near the wishing well ;)). It was during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party right after Wishes. We were walking behind the Castle and FI grabbed me and told me not to move. He gave the video camera to a CM who was working near the Castle and came running back to propose. With the Carosel in the background and Castle in front and just Disney in general, it couldn't have been more perfect. (actually I'm getting a little misty just thinking about it!) Whatever you choose I'm sure she'll love it. Good luck!!! :)

like the rose garden at MK - it is along the main passway to Tomorowland

if you are going April 15 thur june 11??? - the flower/garden festavial is happening at Epcot

middle of may thru June 11 - is the star tours weekend at studios.

at Epcot the garden in Canada is nice. there is a little garden in both France and Great Britian - also very nice.

in Japan there is also a garden - but it is over and behind the gift shops - so it would be hard to get her there...

my favorite Norway doesn't have a garden - instead a play area for kids - avoid it!

AK - the long path to the TREE - its a bug life.

if you want to do this in a restuarant - the CM here are very happy to help you... order her favorite desert and have your ring attached to it!

How about on the beach at Ft Wilderness before, during, after the electric water pagent parade/fireworks at MK?

Or perhaps something with Fantasmic?

Or how about over dinner at the Cailfornia Grill in the Contempory Resort? They pipe in the music from the firework show at MK, as well as dim the lights. Sounds like something I would do.

I should proably preface this by saying that I'm not married, or engaged, nor have I ever been anywhere close, but I have been called a romantic from time to time. Ok, that's my 2 cents.
