I've always had a car at Disney but this year my ds and I are flying in and we will take the Disney bus from the airport. How does this work on checkout day? We are staying at aoa and I have ADR for Ohana at 9am. We fly at 330 so what do we do with our stuff?? And do we go back to aoa to leave?

You can leave your bags with bell services at your resort. Yes, you need to return to AoA to board the ME bus to the airport. If your flight is at 3:30, your pick up time will be approximately 12:30. You will also need to allow time to retrieve your luggage from bell services, and ME advises guests to be at the bus stop 15 minutes prior to your pick up time.

If you are flying on a particpating airline, you can also check your bags through RAC.

1) RAC accepts checked luggage from 5:30am-1:00pm.
2) Your carry-ons can stay with Bell Service unti you are ready.
3) And, yes, you must return to YOUR resort for DME.

I personally suggest heading down to the transportation forum and checking it out.. all kinds of info down there in DME

Your pick up time is the time the bus leaves the resort so definitly be 15-20 minutes before that time.

This is outdated, as SWA has participated at all resorts for quite some time now, and Continental and Northwest no longer exist.

1) You can check luggage and get your boarding passes at the RAC desk up to three hours before your scheduled flight time (that means having the process completed, not just be in line). In your case I'd check my bags before leaving for my morning ADR. You won't see those bags again until you arrive at your home airport.
2) Any carry-on bags can be left with Bell/Luggage Services and retrieved before you go out to catch your DME bus.
3) Your DME bus will be scheduled to leave your resort (and you have to get it at your resort) approximately three hours before your scheduled flight departure. You will get an exact time in a package left on your resort room door the day before you check out.
4) You should be at the DME bus pickup location and ready to go about 15 minutes before your scheduled DME departure. When heading back to your resort make sure to leave enough time for bathroom breaks, retrieving carry-on bags from Bell/Luggage Services, etc.
5) Once you get to the airport, if you have used RAC you can head straight to security or grab lunch from the food court before going to security. If you did not use RAC and need to check luggage and/or get BPs, you'll need to wait in the appropriate lines to take care of that before heading to security or grabbing something to eat.

Old info...SW is at all resorts. People are best served by heading over to the Transportation board....a ton of info there. If you can't find your answer in a stickyed thread, then you can ask away and get lots of info!!!
