Well, she knew about the storm ahead of time so on Thursday she cancelled. I was glad though. It was easier not to have to have soo many people here...LOL!!!

What she had made already like the homemade sauce, meatballs, etc. she froze she was saying today that she wanted to do it after the holiday. .. But no mention of doing it here...LOL!!!!!!!

thanks everyone! It's good to be home, but the weekend went just too fast!!

I bought my parents each an electric throw, and i bought me one too! I opened it tonight! OMG! I love it! LOL I wish it was just a bit bigger, but then it would be a blanket and not a throw, right? LOL

Kristin, the cookies are so easy to make! It won't take you anytime to do them! I made a double batch and they are about gone! Everyone loved them!

We are heading off to bed! There are several schools that have already put out a 2 hour delay due to the cold!! I am hoping our BOE will do that too!!! Connor is friends with his son. Should I call him? "Hello, Chuck? Can we please sleep in tomorrow?" LOL

I will let you know how the cookies come out will make them tomorrow. I am wondering if we will have a delay too tomorrow. Would not mind it. Take our time in the morning and all. Then I can run and get the stuff to make the cookies....

I guess Chuck thought the kids could bear the cold, so we are off to school at the regular time! It's still just wickedly cold and blowing. Thankfully, no snow!

Kristin, I got the throws at Walmart. They are made by Sunbeam and cost $29.99! They were in both solids and plaids. I got mom and I the tan with beige andred stripes and Dad a blue with blue and white stripes.

Better hurry, we are running just a bit behind.....thankfully, it's the only day this week they have school!

It's a balmy -12 air temp this morning, with -30 windchill! Toasty warm! This is getting really old really fast! My kids have school today and tomorrow. Then everyone in my house is home till after new years but me.

Yeah, we had snow Saturday, again, and more coming tonight. We can't drive to work in less than 90 minutes anymore, the traffic is so bad every day because of the weather. Good thing gas prices are down LOL.

Good Afternoon everyone!

This is the boys last day of school. Then they go back on the 5th.

Erika, those temps are just brutal! My gosh! I just would not live there. I figure you have grown up there and it's just a way of life, but my gosh. I'd be movin'! Stay safe and warm!

I am done baking, I still have just 2 gifts to buy and I will do that when I leave here. I have to trapse to the mall to get them, but that is all I have to get there, so it will be in and out!

I have to work for a few hours tomorrow. Stinks. Jenn needs to go in to work for a few hours. I hope to be done before 10 or 11.

The boys want to celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. Steve gets off at 6, so we'll have dinner and then open gifts. Makes it easier since he is working 12 hours Christmas Day. This just means that the magic is gone. It makes me very sad. Also, this weekend, my nephew had on a pair of Colton and Connor's old jammies. OH MAN. That REALLY made me sad. The time just passes WAY too quickly! Colton rode up front with me the entire way there and back. He's never done that before..... WHERE have my babies gone!?

Off to fix my lunch and have some quiet time!!
