Hey Y'all!! Whazz up?!?!?
We had the coldest night of the year last night, actually, the coldest night in the last 5 years. Our low was 7 degrees last night. I know, that's nothing to some of you, but it is to us!! We used to have very cold winters and decent amounts of snow. That hasn't happened since Mt. St. Helens blew 1300 feet off her top in 1980. Y'all will think I'm crazy, if you don't already, but that altered the flow of weather fronts from the northwest into the southeast and our winters haven't been the same since!!

Yeah, we had snow Saturday, again, and more coming tonight. We can't drive to work in less than 90 minutes anymore, the traffic is so bad every day because of the weather. Good thing gas prices are down LOL.

tell me about it.....lovin the gas prices these days but we're still paying more than all of you in the US!! go figure LOL

Good Afternoon everyone!

This is the boys last day of school. Then they go back on the 5th.

Erika, those temps are just brutal! My gosh! I just would not live there. I figure you have grown up there and it's just a way of life, but my gosh. I'd be movin'! Stay safe and warm!

I am done baking, I still have just 2 gifts to buy and I will do that when I leave here. I have to trapse to the mall to get them, but that is all I have to get there, so it will be in and out!

I have to work for a few hours tomorrow. Stinks. Jenn needs to go in to work for a few hours. I hope to be done before 10 or 11.

The boys want to celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. Steve gets off at 6, so we'll have dinner and then open gifts. Makes it easier since he is working 12 hours Christmas Day. This just means that the magic is gone. It makes me very sad. Also, this weekend, my nephew had on a pair of Colton and Connor's old jammies. OH MAN. That REALLY made me sad. The time just passes WAY too quickly! Colton rode up front with me the entire way there and back. He's never done that before..... WHERE have my babies gone!?

Off to fix my lunch and have some quiet time!!

that all sounds very depressing to me Michele!!! glad my boys are still "babies" sort of LOL but I do know one day my turn will come when I'm in your shoes!!!

Just having time to stop in for a minute.....Had to run a few errands then went to lunch with Bruce and my parents... Then to school....


Nancy, we are done with school tomorrow is our last day we have about two weeks off..!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just finished up dinner and now Connor wants me to help him build his catapult he got from my Mom. Thanks Mom. LOL Then I am going to make a Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball. YUM-O!!!

Jenn called and said her Mom is going to come and keep the kids tomorrow! I AM ON VACATION!!! Yay me! I plan on sleeping in and then doing some wash and starting to lay things out to take on vacation.

I am officially done shopping. I have one gift left to deliver and then I have 2 things to wrap for the boys and that's it! Life is good. I don't feel rushed or frazzled!

Off to help him build. Wonder what we'll fire off first? Just checked, it's not that big...maybe something of the size of a large marble. An egg would be too big...thank heavens!

I bought my nephew a volcano kit for Christmas so I can't wait to see if he likes it LOL my sister is going to kill me though but oh well

I tell ya, I am LOVIN' this blanket! I told Steve I was tempted to put it between the sheets to warm up the bed, then pull it out to sleep. I am not sure I could sleep all night with this on. I called my Mom last night and asked, "Are you plugged in?" She started laughing and said No. She called this morning and said that she did plug in after we talked and she LOVES this blanket! I got one for Dad too.

Steve went to the Dr for gout and his sister and I stayed at the hotel. The medicine he was taking could make him sick, so when he got sick we thought it was from that. Then I got sick. Had to fly home sick...it was not pretty. I was never so glad to get home!!

Kristin, look in the theme parks boards. there are several threads about the virus going around. It's really bad. I feel horrible for the people that are getting it. I wonder if the CDC knows about this or if Disney has kept it on the hush hush. Although it seems like a lot of people are getting it, when you compare the number of people in the parks to those posting, maybe it's not that many?? OR how many other families are out there that had it and didn't post about it? I don't know. I would be very cautious to be there right now.
