Nancy, that is one of my chores for the day too. That, and making sure to get everything ready for our trip! At some point, in the dark of the night, I woke up and realized I hadn't stopped the paper and the mail. A slight panic ran through my body and I fell back asleep. When I woke up, it was the FIRST thing I did! LOL I knew I could stop the paper online, and decided to check the Postal Service, and sure enough, you can stop the mail online too!

I better get my shower and get moving! Since we are going to have Christmas tomorrow night, I have a few things to finish up!

We are leaving on Saturday!! The weather at Hilton Head is looking to be in the upper 60's all week! I think rain for one day.....I'll take it!! My Mom got Connor a metal detector. I plan on taking a chair, a book and a bag and just sitting on the beach while he detects stuff! LOL I saw a post where whales have been spotted off the coast! So cool. I'll have my binoculars at the beach too. Don't know if we can actually see them from the beach as the poster saw them from a fishing tour boat, but we can try! I'd like to tour a lighthouse and we already have ressies at Paula Deen's restaurant, Lady and Son's in Savannah, GA for New Year's Eve. We are taking Steve's parents and his aunt with us. We have a 3 bedroom condo rented. Should be interesting. I am not sure how the sleeping situation will work out. I feel like someone is going to get the bad end of the deal. Someone will have to sleep on the sleeper sofa. Whoever that is, will be the last one to bed and the first one up. Steve's aunt goes to be early and gets up early. Colton and Connor go to bed late and sleep in. I told Steve I might take the air mattress and put it in another room or one of the bedrooms, just so the common area is free of sleepers. BUT does anyone really want to sleep on a air mattress for a week? We'll see..... Maybe the boys can take turns sleeping on it.

Okay, I really need to quit reading the boards and get moving!!

Hey Nancy, I heard on tv a few minutes ago that it was almost a sure bet that the entire country of Canada is going to have a white Christmas! It hasn't happened since the 70's! I'm sure y'all are tired of snow already, but that would be cool!!!

LOL yeah we made the news!!!

yes alot of places that normally don't get snow have alot of it so far!! especially the west coast "Vancouver" area where it's usually green for christmas, they just got dumped on this year!!! we have about one foot of snow right now, and more is on the way!!
Hope Santa doesn't fall off the roof, well if he does at least the snow will break his fall

Michele, Matthew sleeps on an air mattress for 8 nights when we are at Disney. It's the only way to keep my kids from having to sleep together. He does fine on it.

Really? Then maybe it won't be too bad then! I'm going to take it and let the boys decide. Of course, I guess I could just pull the mattress out of the couch and put it on the floor in one of the rooms. that would be less to take. Hhmmm......

In my experience air mattresses are more comfortable than the sofa beds.

Hello all!!!!!

It has been pretty busy around here, but I can honestly say, I am pretty much ready for Christmas....I even went and bought all the food today!!!!

I hope everyone is ready for the holidays!!!!

Michele I agree with Erika, I think air mattresses are more comfortable than sofa bed mattresses!! Good luck!! You will have a great time!!

I'll put the air mattress on the list! It just makes sense to me to put everyone in a room instead of in a common area, yanno?

We are heading to a neighbor's for a cookie exchange....well, she's calling it a cookie exchange, we only have to bring 1 dozen, but it's really a clean out her fridge party! LOL Her DH is my chiropractor and they had his office party at thier house the other day. There is a TON of food left over, so she's asking everyone over! She said it's mostly finger food....meatballs, little wienies, and chicken tenders, etc. I went ahead and put meatballs and sauce in the crockpot. Then, when we get home, if we are still hungry, we can have that....or keep it for another day!

Since we are celebrating Christmas tomorrow, I got ham steaks to make so I won't have left overs. Then we are going to Hibachi on Christmas Day. Friday will be packing and leftovers for dinner....Saturday we leave!

I have finished wrapping and organizing everything!! Better charge the battery on the camera though!
