The sad thing is that I haven't had a man in so long that they are starting to look good to me again.

Merkie said that that is true about the puppy but not the cat. She had a cat once and it scratched her right at the corner of her eye. She gave it to my friend's secretary and has never asked for another cat.

The funny thing is that I do not care for cats at all either...when I was younger there was a cat that we were feeding and then one day I was just standing there waiting for my sis to get the food for him and he ran up and clawed me from head to toe...so from then on, I never trusted another cat again...until My MIL had a cat that was old and I used to sit and wait in the chair with the kitty until Mike got home from work...I fell in love with that kitty...she unfortunantly died a few years ago and so I adopted on from outside (she was a stray...I just fed her and petted her but was still very cautious) but she soon found a way into my heart and home...then she was stolen from me so I got Gizmo for my mom...well she never made it to my mom So she is pretty good for a cat...she doesnt have any front claws so she doesnt scratch and I just really never see her until bedtime when she lays on the bed with us. She is no matenience at all...she has an automatic feeder which I refill about once a month (or whenever it gets low) and she has an automatic litterbox that I change once a month as well...then she is all set. She does sit on command though and is more dog-like in listening.

Kristin PMed me all the info. I would have to book the cruise either with DCL or a travel agent and then beg one of you for your referral card and mail it into Disney to get the OBC. Kristin used her's for her parents. Is there anyone not planning to use their referral for a family member or friend?

That must mean that you are going on this cruise....COOL... In order for Gail to use your certificate and actually receive the OBC offer, you would actually have to sail on the cruise.

Also for anyone who is still thinking about using the certificate, I called DCL and they told me that today is actually the 31st day. Therefore the cert is expired. After a little sweet talking I got an OK if the reservation is made today!!!

I didn't think about the person booking having to be on the same cruise. Duh. ANYWAY, Gail, I would call DCL and get it booked. Then you can transfer it to Gail. I was told you could transfer up until the balance is due. As long as you have a card from someone that's booked the 101610, you'll be good to go!

Hi Michelle! I have left a message with Carol and I'm waiting to see if she calls me back. If I don't hear from her this evening, I'll go ahead and book through DCL and hope to be able to transfer it.

You know, you got me thinking about the conversation with the DCL rep when we booked onboard. I kinda remember her telling us that the family or friend would get the 10% in addition to the OBC. My memory is horrible but it does kinda ring a bell. As you know though, the certificate only references the OBC. Sorry.
