Hi all!

Glad it's just a sinus infection Michele, should be able to clear that right up!

At this point, I hope it snows for Christmas so everyone just stays home LOL. My kids said, we'd be here all alone? I said yep, we'll go to the movies! Then they are like, cool!

I am going to be up for awhile now, gotta do a total restore on my desktop, just can't get the darn thing to work right anymore. Grrrrr.

Well, we missed out on the worst of the weather. It's snowing, but we have maybe a half inch on the ground. The counties just to the west of us, are on 2 hour delays, but not us! Connor is all whiney. LOL Sorry dude! He's now saying, "Maybe our bus won't even come, then we won't have to go!" It's suppose to turn back over to rain this afternoon.

Have to run out and get Connor a pair of pants for tonight. He reminded me that at 9 last night. The boys have thier Christmas Band Concert tonight and he is required to wear black pants and a white shirt. Well, for whatever reason, when we bought pants for the cruise, I bought 2 pair of navy!! Duh on me! Now, I have to go and find a pair, and finding pants that fit him is no easy task. I KNOW I could get a pair at the mall, but it's too far and the roads are bad that way. Wish me luck!!

Off to my ankle biters!!!!!

good morning everyone!!
Had to do some shopping today and I got some gifts for Josh and Kevin's teachers. I had totally forgot about them LOL ooopsy
I got Kevin's teacher a pointsettia (sp?) plant and for Josh's teacher I made her a gift basket with a snowman mug, 8 packets of hot chocolate, 4 packets of popcorn, 2 bags of M&M's, and a cinnamon/apple candle.

then tonight we are going to school for the Christmas concert. Both Josh and Kevin are in it so I want to make sure I sit at the front!!! LOL

hope everyone has a great day...I'll be around all day, doing laundry again ugh....

Hello all!!!

Tis the season to be busy!!!!
We are headed out today to get a Christmas tree!!!!
I've been having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit this year.....no grandkids, my mom deciding not to come, so she can spend Christmas and Christmas Eve at her house (15 minutes away) with my stepsister, who is coming from Vegas, because my stepsister wants to spend alone time with them(my stepfather has Parkinsons disease)............Christmas Eve is really the only time of year that my mother, my sister and her family and my family get together, we have been doing it since my girls were tiny!!! And to top it all off, Randy has to work both Christmas Eve and Christmas so he can get New Years off so we can go to AZ!!! Oh well, we will still have a nice Christmas!!

Enough complaining!! LOL

Good Evening all!!

I guess I don't have to get pants for Connor now! He said today she said DARK pants, she didn't say BLACK. PLUS, I am really not sure I want to go! I have been keeping my eye on the sky and the radar. It's freezing rain right now!! I just looked at my outside lights when I had the dogs out, and it's freezing on the lights! Yanno, with the frozen drips hanging off of them!? But the boys say if we don't go, then they are required to write a 3 page essay. On what, I dunno?

Okay, time to get the dinner dishes cleared and get ready to go. Wish us luck!

They just had on the news that a neighborhood in South Charleston, WV is having a friendly competition. There are 12 houses that have lights up. Each house donated $25 to compete. You can go to this website to vote for your favorite house. http://www.montroselights.com/ After the competition is over, the money they donated will go to the Ronald McDonald House and the winner, will simply have bragging rights!

back from the Christmas concert....it was really cute, but poor Kevin was not in it. His teacher sent a note saying their part was canceled because she was having health issues and could not be there tonight.

We did go. The roads were actually pretty good! Just wet and not slick. One thing in our favor, we didn't have to go over any bridges. Huntington is really bad today with multiple car wrecks and bridges freezing over. We were on the edge of it all. Charleston got nothing but rain, we got a mixed bag. Steve said now it's just all rain. It was a rain/snow mix when we were coming home. It must be raining pretty good, I can hear it hitting the deck!
