We had mild on Saturday, it was wonderful!!! The driving isn't too bad today on most roads. It was slow this morning though, took me 90 minutes to get to work. It's MN though, we get used to it (notice I didn't say we like it).

Nancy, my Grandma is now not coming for Christmas either, must run in the family!

I'm telling you what is up with family and Christmas this year?? My mom is not spending Christmas with me either this year. Between, Erika's Grandma, Nancy's mom, my mom, and Candy's mom we are not having luck with families this year...... To bad we all did not live closer we could all celebrate together and forget the rest of the family...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Michele, Good Luck at the doctors. I called mine this afternoon too!!!!!!!!!!

I already told Nancy about my mom. She's coming but only if if the weather is good, and she doesn't want to be gone too long. And she's too broke to give my kids gifts, but if they want to buy something she gave me some ideas.

I am back from the Dr. I have a sinus infection that is causing drainage that is causing me to cough! Thankfully, my lungs are clear!!! He's put me on an antibiotic so I should be much better in a few days!

What did your Dr say Kristin?

When I left for the Dr it was still 58 degrees. When I got off the interstate to come home, it was 51, so it dropped 7 degrees in about an hour. Here it comes!!!!

I stopped at Krispy Kreme and got 2 dozen doughnuts. Here's hoping tomorrow is a snow day!

Well, I HAVE to get Colton a hair cut. He is a shaggy mess and tomorrow is supposed to be the band concert, then we'll be at my Mom's this weekend. Time to make him look presentable again.

Afternoon Everyone!!

I had the babies outside this morning...wear them out a bit! Then it started to rain durning lunch...about 11. This morning the sun was shining and it felt like a spring day, now it's raining and I've had to turn on a few lights in the house!! What a turn around! They are still calling for snow overnight with school delays and cancelations probable for in the morning! Maybe I should stop at the post office and get my stamps today too! Then I can do that tomorrow!

I have an appt with my Dr at 230 to see what's up with this cough! I have a feeling he'll send me for chest xrays. I'm great at getting bronchitis and I have had walking pneumonia before too. We'll see!!!!

On the note of Christmas, Steve is going to work since we are gong to the beach right after. The store he is working at is a 24 hour store, so he will work 9 am to 9 pm. SUCKS. Now we are not sure if we will get up super early to have the boys open gifts OR let them open them Christmas Eve...but I "think" Connor still beleives. Puts us in a tough situation. Steve gets off at 6 on Christmas Eve, so it could be a really nice evening. Also, I was talking to my friend and she said she isn't cooking. She wants to go to the Hibachi for dinner. They are open Christmas Day. I told her, Let's Go! The boys and I are going to go with them! Now I don't have to worry about fixing a meal and having left overs in the fridge!

The dr. told me to take three teaspoons of the cough meds and that I could take it every four to six hours. Continue the antibotic till Wed. and the nurse will call me then to see how I am if no change they want to see me. I was coughing soooo bad this morning that my chest hurts from coughing so long. I do feel a bit better tonight and not as hoarse.

Today, it was 62 outside. It was soo warm I actually opened up the windows today...Tomorrow it is predicted to be icy in the am. I bet the kids have no school or a delay. The rest of the week looks messy too. Another ice storm for Friday into Sat. tooo!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!! I hate this weather.....!!!!

Just got back from the neighbor's ornament exchange. It's always fun to see everyone! She has not just neighbors but friends too. Now the kids are wired on soda, sugar and adrenaline! LOL I came in and put on my jammies! They are fighting me going to bed. "It's too early! Tomorrow will be a snow day!" Well, there's no snow yet, so off to bed ya go!

I hope to be better once my drug supplier gets home! LOL I hope this Augmentin kicks in in the next few days. I am going to my Mom's on Saturday morning and coming back Sunday night. The kids have school on Monday. I really don't want to be in the car for 4 hours coughing and hacking the whole way, yanno??

Did I tell you the AWESOME deal I got on a hotel room? I was checking around at all the hotels we've stayed at, and the Red Roof Inn had this clickable Red Hot Deal. I clicked on it and got the room for $39.49!! I was shocked!! Usually we can get it for about $60. It's clean and close to my parents and I'll feel safe staying there without Steve with us.
