I know that people complain so often about too many events, but I get really bored during the down times like this....

Same, kinda. I've been liking not trying to constantly get tokens, currency and the like...but I'm ready for something new. The upside is I've leveled a fair number of characters.

I did get five gems compensation for the ad chest glitch. I dislike that glitches happen, but hey...I'll take five gems.

Would you please tell me how to get the Figment tokens? I can log into my account, and did do the redeem code for Aladdin - was hoping for the Sultan, but sadly got another Snake in a Basket. But I am not sure how to get the Figment tokens.

You need to go to the Gameloft Club shop. Every day, there should be two free chests: one for figment and then a bronze or silver chest. Redeem them and then they show up in your game.

To sign up for Gameloft Club, you can likely just google that or there used to be a button in the game in the upper right hand corner.

Well Gameloft interns have struck again. The start of the event has gone surprisingly well. I got into the game and looked at the Kingdom Pass, but didn't purchase it. I went to the Gameloft Club and saw there are two options. A $17.99 US option and a $18.99 option (available for about 4+ days). The main thing was a big difference in happiness received. So I went ahead and purchased the $18.99 option, received my email about my purchase and see that my CC has been charged. Now when I try to log into the game, I keep getting "No Internet Connection" on the game.

I have tried to get the free figment and free daily gift. They just hang on the "claiming" screen.

I haven’t done Gameloft club / connect. When I went in today, I got the no internet connection, too. Tried again. Internet connection but no event & no season or kingdom pass at all.

Do I have to be in the club to get that?

The consistent buggy glitches at any new switchover or event is so aggravating….to the point that I’m okay if they shut down the game. I should just make that decision myself I guess.

Anyone actually shocked over the issues? I mean, I hope for the best but not a lick of shock on my face. I keep saying I’m going to stop playing and never do…

I got in and everything popped up eventually. So started to play. Then got stuck in an ad that never ends (very typical for some ads, like the McDonald’s ones) and closed the game to reload. Now back to error messages.

okay lots seems to be working correctly, but timer on the task to the tower - had to send out twice, and now not counting down right.

Just hit my first time in this TC with the Exploration traps. And let's just say, that our friends at GL are making it impossible for newer players to get ANYTHING in the TC without spending money. You old time players would not see this, but here are the options to get the lanterns this time:

Sully - a 2 hour task to the gem attraction Mike and Sully to the rescue.

Nick and Hopps with a task to the 22K plus elixer attraction Zootopia Race Track

Yess - so you have to have been lucky in WiR LCs

C-3PO - task to the gem attraction Resistance X-Wing (nicely on sale for only 150 gems today).

Genie with the Genie's Lamp show attraction. I have genie, but not the attraction.

Iago - with some attraction I must not have

So, after playing for almost 2 years, never having ANY issues with these tokens, I was NOT able to get any lanterns. And I only had one option for the lotus candles.

I decided to spend the gems to get Mike and Sully to the Rescue. I had been planning to buy it during the Bingo type event later this month that requires you to spend 100 gems to finish. But that seemed like a better option now than spending all of ingots with Merlin to get up to 22.5K (when I have only 120 elixer right now, after buying the Magic Lamp Theater yesterday to have an attraction in the second refresher spot, since the 2 Aladdin attractions that I have aren't used for it.)

And recall that newer players do not have decorations to sell, etc.

Sneaky little ways that they make things harder and harder. On top of using a KP character as a featured character for the first time ever. Very crappy GL.

Oh and a shorter season too. Less time to get to 150

Yes and no. To be honest, maybe it is just luck or timing on my part, but I rarely encounter any issues to this magnitude. Yes, I have had the odd ad not completing / ending as mentioned by others. In all the years I have played, I think this is the first time I was seeing these "No Internet Connection" issue. We have seen some of the "choices" that the developers have taken in the past and we have complained about them. But this seems to be the worse it has ever been. Especially right after the server upgrade/maintenance they performed the previous day.

Fair. I guess, even though I know better, I expect a better season/event start every time...and internet connection/delayed starts/whatever happen each time.

I've always wondered this b/c I have been playing a long time and refuse to spend any money on the game, but do the majority of you spend $$$ on the game? For reference my collection is at 1023/1304, so fairly decent and have never spent a dime.

I’ve never spent a dime. I lost all progress right before the turning red event. Started over with Indiana Jones’s event. So I’ve seen how they have been changing over time. But for an event that is supposed to be to help newer players get some stuff they made it impossible. Really crappy.

You also wouldn’t see how crappy the odds are now in LCs, either.

Keep an eye on any characters you are leveling up. A number of users are reporting issues elsewhere, and it just hit me leveling Gonzo to 10. I started leveling to 10 last night, and this morning it doesn't show as being in the leveling process and I am back to 0 of each token. I submitted a request to customer care but have very low expectations or hopes on this.

I can’t get videos to work in the tasks for over a day now. 150 down in magic and counting. Tried all the usual tricks. No luck.

Did get Chip Potts in the LC for chapter one. Nice surprise

Uh...just checked the timer for weekly tasks. They reset in just under 2 days...so the normal Thursday.

So someone PLEASE tell me why the new season/event was rushed out in a short week starting on Saturday if the refresh day is going to remain Thursday? Why not just wait an extra five days?
