We love the Magic! Of our 5 DCL cruises, we've sailed the Magic 3 times. Tried the Dream and the Fantasy, but the Magic is still our favorite!

Booked this cruise on opening day. It will be hubby and I and friends from Philadelphia on this cruise. We have only cruised on the Magic once before and will possibly be doing a B2B in January on the Magic too. We have been on all four ships and like the classic ships best.

When I booked the cruise I was assigned a GTY. I made a request for my preferred location but of course DCL makes no guarantee.

On my return home from Aulani, I had my cabin assignment and it was exactly where I wanted to be.

Greetings from Disney World! It's summer in Florida, so it's definitely warm here! I'm sweltering in the crowded parks and thinking about our oh-so-far-away NY to Canada cruise and pretending it's cooler....it's not really working but I'm pretending anyway....

I'd like to say I had the same thoughts when I was at Aulani (for 2 whole weeks!) but I didn't.

Go visit the Canadian pavilion at Epcot to get in the mood, eh.

You'll enjoy Aulani. This was our second visit and we stayed 2 weeks (had lots of points to use up), not counting our first "visit" when we went out to see it during construction. Our first stay was April 2013, but just for 4 days. DW and DD preferred to sit by the pool most days (though DW did play golf 3 days) but an hour or so each day was good enough for me so I went exploring almost every day.

Go for it! Hawaii is a good anniversary choice. We did a second honeymoon there since our first honeymoon to the Bahamas was a complete disaster (and we've never liked Nassau since then). For our 30th anniversary we did Scotland, Paris and a Viking cruise to Normandy - about 2 1/2 weeks total.
