My Disney Vacation
On the way down to Florida on the plane, I couldn't take a cat nap at all! I was too excited about this vacation that I was going on. When we arrived at the Ron Jon Carrib Ressort, I thought that the look of the hotel was cool! I thought that the food was great. But most of all...I thought that the best part of the whole hotel, was the slide and the lazy river. The slide is 148 feet high up. But if you are afraid of heights,when you are on the slide, you don't know that you are actully up that high, because it doesn't go straight down. It goes in lots of circles. I would reccomend to go on that slide! The lazy river too! That is so much fun and relaxing. You get a tube; the blue are the bigger ones and the yellow are the smaller ones. There are lots of little water extras on the lazy river.Like buckets of water that randomly dump on your head, and little shower fossets that spray and drip water down. The miniature golf course is a lot of fun. It's small, but i had some fun playing on it. When you go to sleep on the pull out couch; I have to warn you that that thing is the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my entire life. It was so uncomfortabe that I could feel the springs of the matress on my back and my side. Good Luck trying to sleep on that thing!!!!
On the morning we left Ron Jon, a guy mad a Mickey balloon hat for me, and a Donlad balloon hat for my sister. He didn't just make them, they were really good balloon animals.
The next morning I went to the terminal and it is so cool. There are some doors that you can see the boat from, and some people think that you can't go out those doors, but you can and you should take some pictures of you in front of it...I did. Once we boarded, we went to Topsiders Buffet, and then we explored the ship. While looking around the ship, my neighbor,Jenna, told me to turn around and when I looked behind me there was Pluto!
Then after my mom signed my sister and me into the lab, we got ready for the sail away party. You should go up there and dance because it's not every day that you get to dance on a ship with your favorite characters! We bought bubbles for the sailaway party, but you should save them until the boat starts to move because I didn't have a lot left by the time we sailed.
Then we had to hurry up and get ready for dinner. Our waiter and asst. waitress ; they were really nice, funny, and they even did magic tricks! They were really nice.They were Periom and Ella!
After dinner I got changed into more casual clothes and I went to the lab, and met a group of really nice girls. When you go, you make friends really quickly. But if you don't go the first night,you might not make friends as quickly, but you will make friends. The cool thing about being in the lab, is that you were allowed to check yourself in and out of the lab as often as you want to. Your parents get a beeper and I had to page my parents every time I checked out so that they knew where I was. You could go get ice-cream, pizza, soda, hotdogs, fries, and anything else that you wanted. The days at sea were the days that I liked best because I could relax more. I really liked the ship. I could have gone 6 days at sea and 1 day at Castaway Cay. The days at sea, I did mostly the same thing ever day but some different and in different orders. You have to see the shows. Especially the Friday night when the comedian and magician each do an act.
At Castaway Cay, if you don't have neck problems,and you like speed,you should go on the banana boats. I watched them from my veranda.They looked like they didn't go that fast. Well, I also didn't go on them. I think that you should try that and parasailing. Those two looked like a lot of fun. Also, don't miss the shop at Castaway Cay. They have some good stuff. Also, don't be a minute late getting on that boat because it leaves at exactly the time it says that it is going to leave.Exactly!
I had the most fun in my whole life! I loved the Disney Cruise Ship so much! I tried looking for a hiding spot the last day. I tried the safe, but I knew I had to come home sooner or later. I'll miss the ship. The really funny thing was, that I had already started planning the next Disney World Vacation on the plane ride home. If you have any questions, just ask!! Bye
