Disney just downgraded my venue: So upset

Hello,

We were planning a twenty year vow renewal at the Sunrise Terrace at Wilderness lodge. However, they have just told us they want to move us to the side-terrace at Artist Point. This does not have the beautiful light or views out to the lake. Instead, it looks out over an ugly green roof and is just by the pathway people have to take to get to the fast service restaurant and the pool. So we don't get the privacy that made us select Sunrise terrace in the first place. And the photos will be of this ugly green roof and the hotel building in the backdrop rather than the stunning view out to the lake offered by the sunrise terrace.

I am feeling so down and sad about this. I don't what to do. Has this happened to anyone else? If so did you have a solution? I am just worried that this will take away from all the money and time we have spent planning it as it won't be the private special moment we were hoping at all.

Did they tell you why they need to move you? Is Sunrise Terrace being refurbished or something?

I'm so sorry to hear that! What was the reason for the move?

Are there other locations that you would consider? Even at other resorts?
