Disney Jewlery Thread - Chamilia and any others!

I have come to the very quick conclusion that I think I am going to need a second bracelet just for a disney theme since I have almost filled my first one with others items But I have a question for any of you that have used the stopper beads with the rubber inserts-DH got me a couple since he has seen me fling beads accross the floor a couple of times- How on earth do you get these blasted things on the bracelet????? I have tried several times with no luck so I thought I would come to the pros-TIA

My stoppers open up. I can't come up with a good way to describe it. Are your stoppers Chamilia? I know other companies make stoppers, but in my experience they will not go on the Chamilia bracelet.

Can you buy the Chamilia bracelet at any stores in Disney world.DTD? And How much are they? Our local store sells the bracelet for 65...Just wondering if it is cheaper to buy it before or while we are there! We will be there this christmas and would make a great gift!!!

I bought my first Chamilia bracelet 2 years ago at the jewelry store on Main street at the Magic Kingdom. I think the price was the same as if I would have bought it at home. They only had one style there. So if you want choices and to be safe you may want to buy it at home before you go.

Just added my Epcot ( golf) bead today. Love it, now I have to find a wizard hat that will represent the Studios.

I love your bracelet and how you have a different bead to represent each of the different Disney parks! Can you please post when you find a wizard hat to represent the studios? Also, is the woodland tree bead discontinued? I looked on the Ohm website but wasn't able to find it anywhere there. I checked the Amazon website and couldn't find it there either. It really is a cute bead so I hope there is another website that might still have it available for sale.

I have never shopped this store myself. I have heard others who have and they had no issues with customer service.

Just a thank you to Tinkerbellmom31 for sharing all the web sites for the great castle, tree and wizard hat. I think Disney is missing a money maker by not having a bead for each park. Oh well, thanks to you we now have them without the Mickey mark up.

Oh your welcome, glad to have people who love Disney as much as me to share it with! Disney is definitely missing out here. I'm still waiting for them to make a goofy bead he is one of my favorites! I mean he is one of the fab five.

I hadn't started collecting the Chamilia charms when we went on the Disney cruise. Anybody going on a cruise soon that would be willing to buy the ship bead and mail it to me? or does anyone know if you can call a number and order cruise line merchandise?

Hello everyone - great thread! I stumbled upon my first Chamilia bead yesterday - I was passing a small jewelry store that had a 50% off Chamilia sign out. So in I went, and picked up a bead for $17.50! They had Pinocchio & Winnie the Pooh half price as well, but I didn't get them. Might have to go back tomorrow!

I have the Pandora bracelet & about 6 Pandora charms, the rest are sterling silver & glass from other lines, and some are the cheap ones (shhhhh) from Disney that they sell for about $5. I have had trouble with the beads that Kohls sells, one is stuck on my bracelet & starting to unthread it - I can't take it off. Thankfully it's all the way on the end, so there it will stay. I have had to return several to Kohls that I ordered online, they do not fit the Pandora bracelet. I've never seen the Troll beads someone mentioned on here, I will have to look into it!

Thanks for all the great ideas...I think I may have to give up my Vera Bradley obsession & replace it with Chamilia....

Welcome to the obsession! Someone else here will probably be able to confirm, but I don't think that the Trollbeads fit the other brand's bracelets. At least, one of the stores where I buy Chamilia also sells Trolls, and they have told me that they are not interchangable.

I have a Trollbead murano on my bangle, fits perfect. It will not fit the traditional chamilia or pandora bracelet. I didn't have a bracelet with me when I went to Mexico. I took a chance because the beads slide on the bangle instead of twisting.

I'm going outlet shopping this weekend, and there's a Zales outlet there. They have their own brand of SS & glass beads, I will take my bracelet with me & see if they have any that fit.

There's also a Disney outlet in the center, but I've never seen jewelry there.
