Now that I have finally made it through every post (thank you for the pictures!!!), I have a question:

Several people have mentioned buying the Chamilia beads off of Ebay. How do you know which sellers are really selling the "real" ones? Many list them as "authentic", but they don't look quite right.

Can anyone share with me the name of a seller they have used and are happy with?

I will try to post pictures of my bracelets soon.

I have seen a lot of knock offs on ebay. You do have to be careful. It's usually pretty obvious though. If you read carefully though the listings they usually say "authentic silver" instead of "authentic chamilia". Also, check feedback totals. Finally, if the price is too good to be true it probably is. The real Chamilia pieces usually go just below retail, or they go above retail if they are a discontinued piece.

I can't believe that I'm just now stumbling across this thread!!!

My DH bought me a Chamilia bracelet and a couple charms on our cruise back in September as an anniversary gift. Of course, now I'm hooked and have asked for a couple new charms for Christmas. (All Disney of course!) Here's my bracelet, though it's very hard to see what the charms are:

Very nice! I can tell what your glass beads are, but not quite what the silver ones are. I think I can make out the purse, and maybe the sand dollar?

Will the Chamilia charms fit on the Pandora bracelet? Sorry if this was answered before. I didn't read the whole thread. I would love to start one of these but the Pandora bracelet will be easier to find by my DH if I ask for it for Christmas. Also, what keeps the charms from sliding around on the bracelet?

I only have a leather pandora bracelet, not a silver one, but the Chamilia beads do fit on the one I have. Chamilia sells stopper beads that hold the charms in place. I'm not really familiar with the Pandora so maybe someone else will chime in.

Has anyone had experience buying beads from Etsy. I just googled Chamilia there and found some gorgeous beasds, much cheaper than Chamilia. Check this out and this one, too.

You do have to be careful with eBay because there are some sellers who list beads as "authentic Chamilia" but they are fakes Avoid anyone who is a new seller as I have learned that sellers will use many different names and when then they get negative feedback, they just move on to a new name Get familiar with the official Chamilia numbers of beads by checking out the Chamilia website because some sellers advertise their beads as "authentic" but the bead numbers do no match up with the numbers in Chamilia catalogs or on the website There is a jewelry website that had great prices on Chamilia beads

Those are super cute! I have never ordered beads from etsy. I think that they would fit fine though, since the glass beads are not threaded like the silver ones are. My only question would be the size of the beads compared to the Chamilia ones. I like the beads to be uniform in size. That's one of the reasons that I prefer Chamilia to Pandora or Troll Beads.

Yes they will! I have a silver Pandora bracelet and all the Chamilia beads fit on it so far! I think also Love Links fit on it too.

y'all are a bad influence!! I had sold a pair of my hand painted Sanitas the other week and had $100 sitting in my pocket. So, ummm, I may have bought

and ummm,

I have a Pandora bracelet and necklace and these are the first Chamilia beads I have bought--never heard of Chamilia until last week on this board. I think that the Chamilia beads are prettier and I like a lot more of the Chamilia compared to the Pandora. I also think the beads are a little but cheaper--not a ton, but yk, when you buy a few it ads up.

Also, the store I went to offers a punch card program (buy 9 get 1 silver bead free), a registry of what you bought, and a wish list so people can know what charms you'd like.

NHhockeyMom--sorry I don't know your name--you have great taste and a great ability to put things together. I bet your house is the same way. I don't have the knack. I try, but ehh. Maybe as I get more beads I'll be able to do that--right now mine are a bit eclectic. I'll try a post a pic next week.

I saw that castle bead too and thought it was really cute. Much nicer than the Chamilia one.

I got this new leather bracelet for this one last week. It's actually a Pandora bracelet. I like the color better with these beads. Plus, the other pink bracelet that I have usually holds my kid's birthstone beads.

Are those locking beads on the ends? What brand? I really want to do a leather one similar to yours, but didn't know if the locking beads would fit.

Yes, they are Chamilia lock beads. I actually got some new ones for this bracelet with pink swarovski crystals in them. They are super pretty and work perfectly with the leather.

That leather bracelet is a pandora one. I like the color better than the Chamilia version. It's a much pinker color.

I love the pink leather! The only leather Chamilia I have is the braided black one, that can either be a double-strand bracelet or necklace, I love it's versatility!
