Disney Jewlery Thread - Chamilia and any others!

I ordered several days ago from Chamilia two disney beads. The order said I would receive a confirmation email. Never got it. Not in spam or junk. I called this morning to check on it. she said it shipped. I asked for the delivery confirmation number. She told me she would have to put me on hold because there is only one machine that has that, but if I really wanted it she would get it for me even though she is extremely busy and it is not a trackable number. I am now going to rant about how if I give a company money why do they have to make me feel like a pest and a bother because i want the information that should have been sent to me!! I am overly sensitive but that always make me feel bad when a person does that to me. Do they not realize that if we didn't buy from them, they would be out of a job. Sorry to bother you guys but felt like this ugly pest after getting off the phone. Thanks for listening to me

That really stinks! I did not know that you could order directly from the Chamilia website, that must be new. If their customer service is that bad they probably won't be selling for long!

Did you get her name? I would be tempted to call back and complain. There is really no excuse for that.

Wow, I'm pretty surprised by that. The actual store that that website is from is in Omaha. My aunt lives in the area and when my mom was visiting a few weeks ago they went to check it out. My mom said the lady there was really nice and super helpful to them. My mom is a big collector, but my aunt was just starting her first bracelet.

Maybe she was just having a bad day.

Wow, I'm pretty surprised by that. The actual store that that website is from is in Omaha. My aunt lives in the area and when my mom was visiting a few weeks ago they went to check it out. My mom said the lady there was really nice and super helpful to them. My mom is a big collector, but my aunt was just starting her first bracelet.

Maybe she was just having a bad day.

She probably was just having a bad day. I would order from them again. After I stop feeling bad I am forgiving of experiences like that.

It wasn't until I got my order conformation that I realized it wasn't the "actual" website. I got a shipping notice also, so I am waiting for the beads to come in. I didn't like the "free shipping", but $3 for insurance. That isn't actually "free shipping", but the prices were good and I was able to get several beads I really had been wanting.

No apologies needed, they give you every reason to think it is chamilia itself. I, too, am happy with the price I got but totally agree $3 for insurance is not free shipping. I am glad to get what I got but the customer serviice at alot of places these days is just lacking

I was a day late and a dollar short with the website poohbear8 passed along. I went back now to order the eeyore charm and they are sold out. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to pay full price at my local store. DD loves eeyore, but I also know she doesn't want me to spend that much. I wonder if chamilia isn't going to carry as many Disney charms. I was on their website and they don't have much.

What am I missing? I didn't see them on the link? I wonder if they'll do ALL the countries, that's so cool. I'd love just having an EPCOT bead. I have to say, I'm kind of disappointed in my crystal mickey head bead, it's dull all the time. I saw one at a jewelry shop in Nassau and it was really sparkly, I wonder what the difference was? Even cleaning it doesn't get it as sparkly as the other one I saw. Anyone else have this problem?

They're not up on the site anymore. I think that they might have put them up too early and had to take them back down. No where else is listing them yet.

They were pretty cute though, silver beads with enamel, so lots of color. There were six of them... Big Ben for England, the Eiffel Tower for France, a gondola for Italy, a sun for Mexico, singing children (dutch maybe?) and I can't remember the last one.

Unfortunately for me, I'm going to have to buy two sets since my daughter is going to want them too!

I have the blue sparkly Mickey and although I love the bead it is not as sparkly as I would like it to be. I'm not sure why.

I wonder why they removed them from that page. They always have the next quarter beads up for preorder. It says they wil be out in January. I can't wait.
I really must have the Disney cruise one. We take our first Disney cruise in May.

I received my beads from the site I listed. The "free shipping and $3.00" for insurance is a joke. It was packed in a white padded envelope with no extra insurance added through the post office. There was a tracking number and shipping was about $1.50. SInce the pins are a Christmas gift for me, I only glanced at them. I only wish they had the hanging poohbear one. I really need a deal on him now.

Other beads that I have ordered from eBay came in the little plastic bag with the black anti tarnish paper and they were as shiny as can be. I don't know that I will personally use this site again. My local store is doing a big girl's night out promotion tonight. It is in conjunction with a little restaurant nearby that does wine and tapas. If you go to the restaurant tonight they are giving out gift cards for the Chamilia store. Then, the store is doing buy on get one free bracelets, and up to 40% off.
