Disney Jewlery Thread - Chamilia and any others!

Do the Mickey Head or Pooh head tend to be top heavy and fall forward? I bought the cow charm from Pandora and he is top heavy, so his head always falls downward when he is on my wrist, so you can't tell what he is. I really want to add some Disney charms to my Christmas wishlist, but want to be able to see them.

Does anyone know if there are any Disney Chamilia beads that are available exclusively at Disney World or Disneyland? I know that there is a Chamilia Disney Cruise line bead that I think you can only buy on the ship, although I wish it would be available to purchase online as well.

And my Mickey pinky ring.

I have a friend who is a jeweler. She really did a great job on the bracelet. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Thank you. I was going to get one that says Mickey and Minnie but went with the Disneyholic instead.

In case anyone needs a few more items for their wishlist, this website has their discontinued beads 50% now. I hope to have a few coming my way for Christmas. :rolleyes1:cool1:

I had to look around for all of the beads though. Choosing the Disney link only brings up some as does the Discontinued styles. When you scroll down, keep going all the way. Not all of the Disney beads are together on the list. If you know the numbers you can search also.

Hope this enables, I mean, helps someone else! :thumbsup2

Also, Reeds Jewelers looks to be getting rid of their collection and have the Disney beads on sale also.

I have one of the Pooh beads. It's just Pooh by himself. He does tend to flop over. Maybe the Pooh with the honey pot would be more stable.

As for the Mickey Head, I find that the ears keep him in place pretty well.

I really don't mind the beads spinning when they are on my wrist, but I hate it when they are on a necklace, because then they are always upside down.

Nancy F. - Love your bracelet and ring, and also the nails!

I'm glad I could help others. I spent some time reading all of the posts and decided that I needed to work on my Disney bracelet. I'll be posting some pictures once I get it all together.

I was worried about the pooh turning, so I decided to wait on him. Maybe I will go and order the dangle pooh instead.

While looking last night, I also found a site that said they had preorders for new Epcot enamel beads for some of the countries. I forgot to bookmark the site though.:sad2:

Not to go OT or anything ::goodvibes: but is your wedding set Van Craeynest?

No. My friend designed it for me. After 30 years of wearing a plain solitaire setting I had her reset my engagement ring. I went on line a researched some settings I liked and had her do the rest.

OK after seeing the DCL charm and reading through this thread, I am totally hooked. I want to start a bracelet on our upcoming Christmas cruise! Does anyone know if they also sell the bracelets on the ship, or would I be better off buying a bracelet ahead of time? I was looking at the multiple wrap leather bracelets and love the look, but worry that they do not wear as well over time as the metal ones-- any thoughts for this newbie?

Thanks for the links, I was just enabled, I mean helped by you guys to just get the Donald head, the pooh on the honey pot and the tigger charm. thanks, now can't wait to add them!!!:cool1:

I don't remember them selling any bracelets on the cruise ship, only the charms. I have the black leather and so far it looks as good as the day I bought it (in May), I also wear it as a necklace. I have the metal bracelet that wraps around the wrist and has two stopper beads that come with it, so you don't have to pay extra for lock beads.

It's very pretty, and reminds me of some Van Craeynest that I've seen!! It's nice you have a friend that does jewelry!

Thanks! I think I'll have to go ahead and get one of the wrap-around bracelets to take with me and fill... more space for more beads! :thumbsup2

That's a really nice bracelet, because you can either center the beads, or put some on either end with the stoppers, I think you'll be pleased with it! :goodvibes
