Disney Insurance??

I just booked the free dining package last week for 7 nights and declined the disney insurance. Now I am seconding guessing my decision since our stay will be during hurricane season. Should I add it on to my package or is it too late to do that now?????

How much was the insurance going to cost you? I have been pondering this same thing. Usually, I'm not big on the insurance thing, but we are going during a peak hurricane period, so it might be a good idea.

You can add insurance at any time up to when final payment is made. Once the package is paid in full you cannot add insurance.

The cost is per adult in the party, $59 each. You can only cancel trip insurance within 14 days of booking your package. Disney will automatically add it, unless you specifically ask them not to. If you cancel the package, the trip insurance is non-refundable.
When you go through the booking process online to the point where you are given the total package price, it includes info and links to the insurance coverage and a file to download the brochure. It's the same as you get in your confirmation from Disney. This way you can check out coverage for yourself ans see if it's worth it to you. There are other trip insurance co. you can use too. When is hurricane season?

I think the most active time is from August 15 - September 30. I've decided I will get the insurance - just to be safe.

Hurricane Season runs from the beginning of June until the end of November. The most active months are August to early October.
