Is the Disney Institute ever going to open again?

Disney Institute is in the process of being turned into "Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa." They will no longer have any of the classes offered before as the property is now a vacation club property. It opens May 12th of this year. Deb has photos on her site..

What about the "tree houses" and the fairway villas? I saw they are all still there last Feb. taking the DTD->POR shuttle boat, but they were just sitting there empty.

I believe the land they are on will be part of SSR but Disney may have a problem with the site as I heard rumors that to rebuild on location they would have to fingerprint existing buildings...but that may have just been a rumor. I'm sure Disney will do what they want.

Some are being used to house IP's. There's some sort of environmental issue with tearing them down, and WDW no longer deems them suitable to rent to guests.

I wish they would. My mom went to some cooking classes at the Disney Institute with my aunt. She talks about it all the time. She says how great it was and how much I would have enjoyed it!
