Disney Infinity Now Saving on XBox?

Hi everyone!

We recieved this game for Christmas however we are experiencing a problem with it. We know the game autosaves and we have selected save throughout playing. However when we turned it back on this morning, we have lost over two hours of game play! We are back about 20 quests that we had already completed! Is this a known issue? Do we need to update (there was no prompt when we turned on the console) Shouldn't it just save when we select save?

I know with wii you have to take ownership of each character, don't know about x box system. You could check make sure your not playing as guest.
