Did anyone get one? It appears it is only for the character they show? And they were gone instantly. None of the ones they show, are the ones that I want.

I just got it on the waitlist, but I think I"m going to release it, don't want Davy Jones.

I bought discs because we don't have any. Is it ok to have Series 1 when you have none at all?

Sure. I just have all of the discs from series 1....and multiples of many of them. This game is so expensive and addictive. I would say that series 1 are the ones to be on the lookout for if you don't have any at all. Series 2 just came out and will be around for a while, but I'm not sure how long they will keep series 1 around now that they have released new ones. Happy hunting!

Walmart right now has an exclusive Rapunzel figure and Best Buy has Wreck It Ralph. These are only available in those specific stores. These are the ones I would start with.

Toys R Us also had some limited crystal figures (Lighting McQueen, Sulley and Buzz Lighyear, I think). Maybe they still have some if you are in a smaller area.

EDITED TO ADD: Vanellope is an exclusive at Target and is still available.

Only in the Playsets. For Toyboxes, you can play two unrelated characters.

I'm not completely clear what you're asking.

The Playsets are the adventure/mission part of the game (traditional video game).

The Toyboxes are the building part of the game (like Minecraft).

My DD spends about 80% of her DI time in the Toyboxes (ones she has built and pre built ones that she has downloaded).

Just wanted to update that currently I have no charge on my card and my shipping status is open and N/A for all four figures (Jones, Violet, Mater, Randy) so I called. Quite a long wait but a pleasant agent looked up my order, apologized for the delay but said everything with the order is good, high volume is causing a delay and they are scheduled to be shipped tonight.

Kinda sounds like a script but I have my fingers crossed that what he says is true. Trying to be patient!

You are good at deciphering, that is exactly what I was asking. My youngest is almost 18 and she prefers the mission type parts of the game, so thank you very much!!

I got Barbossa from Amazon, if I can get Dash this afternoon, at least I'll have two complete sets. If my Gamestop ever ships, I'll take back my Barbossa and Mrs. Incredible and keep Jack S and Randall.

You might want to look into getting crystal versions of figures. They are TRU exlusives and from what I understand, they are stronger, faster etc than the regular version. For example, say the crystal Lightening McQueen is faster that means it would be better to use than the regular LM to beat the missions in the Cars playset.

I think they've released Sully, LM and Mr Incredible (maybe Buzz lightyear) and are releasing Captain Jack and the Lone Ranger this Sunday (I think).

Good to know thanks. The Xbox is actually my husbands Christmas gift. I just thought might as well grab Infinity when it was on sale. I just took a huge paycut, so just a few basic characters at half price will probably be good for now. My kids haven't even asked for it, but my dd has been annoyed that Disney Universe will not play on our Wii, so this should keep her happy. If they want more later we can see how they budget is, or they can use their money I guess .
It's why I hesitated a bit, as I can just see this game turning into a total money pit!!!

I decided to cancel my order. Of course, the link to cancel the order was not working and it directed me to email my cancellation. I emailed the cancellation, but I have no idea if they will process it or not. Luckily, it was free shipping for me so if they send it, they're wasting their money because I'm returning the figure to the store as soon as I get them!!

Same here. I haven't heard back from them yet. I got Davy and Barbossa today from Amazon, and they're both on my Gamestop order as well. So, if they ever do ship them, I'm returning them. If they want my business then they should at least keep me updated so I know what's going on. The other two on my GS order are Dash and Randall. If I can get Dash and Syndrome from Amazon today then that's good enough for me. The whole entire GS order will be pointless. Hopefully they just cancel it for me, but it sounds like they probably won't.
