I'm going to disney in Febuary. Febuary 21-26 and I was wonder what the weather is going to be like. Is it warm enough to go swimming. What should I bring (clothes wise). And how the parks and lines would be like. I never went in Feb. just May, August and October.
Also if anyone has ever been to disney with a chior or band what are the workshops like?
Thanks.

really it could be hot or cold, we went last febuary and we had no higher than 65 but the rest of the month i was told got up into the 80's we just happened to get the coldest week of the month.

We are going and the average temp is suppose to be 70s! That will be awesome since we will be coming from Iowa where the average temp will be 30s! We are in the 70's now here and I keep telling DF that this will be our Disney weather! I think he is getting annoyed!

The parks are pretty crowded President's Day week. So they should be pretty crowded when you arrive but they crowds wil get lighter as your stay progresses.

Pack a little of everything, as Snugglepeas said, you could have warm days with cool mornings, or you could have morning snear freezing with chilly afternoons. Febraury weather in Orlando is completely unpredictable.

We went this past February and will be going again in February 07. Most days we would wear pants with short sleeve shirts, but when the sun went down it got chilly. At night we would wear pants and a jacket and that was comfortable. I wouldnt say its warm enough to swim, but my 2 boys did!!! They loved it and the pool is heated ( still too chilly for me to swim, but hey we're in Florida!) I cant say how the crowds will be for you, we go the first week in February and have no or very little waits in line (5 - 10 minutes at most)

Have fun and enjoy your trip!!! only 122 days till we go :cool1:  :cool1:

This February we had a week where it was in the mid 40s. It was freezing. I felt bad for the tourists who came down underequipped. The CMs who are Florida natives were suffering.

I was there Feb 10-14, 2005. It was cold. Morning temps were in the low 40's ! Warmed up to only mid to upper 50's. I think it may have topped out at a high in the low 60's one or two days but that didn't last long. All the park gift shops had gloves/hats sitting out on the counters for eager guests to buy. I came from PA where it was 20's and 30's & snow so I had my winter jacket which I wore all week. The crowds were heavier than I expected too. We stayed at POP that trip and a CM told me the resort was booked solid the week we were there. There was some sort of cheerleading competition as well as a high school bands competition. Lots of special groups coming into the parks.
Now the day we left (2/14), it was supposed to hit 70 that day (of course ! )
Ashley, I'm hoping you have much nicer weather than I had, but just wanted you to be prepared just in case.

Thanks so much for all of your help. I don't really know what to do since you all had different experiences. Maybe I'll just take my whole closet (just kidding). But Hey I have till Febuary to figure it out.

we usually go late in feb/into mar and the weather seems to be a little warmer by then------what kind of competition are you going with???? The only downside is that bythe time we go----value season is gone........ :sad2:

You are in for a very crowded time. Not only is it President's week but this year Mardi Gras dates coincide-each of these makes for a crowded park but together-Yikes!. Definitely have a plan-maybe TGM.
