Disney @ Home pictures

Of all the interesting things people have shared on this thread, I think your Mickey hotel soaps collected and arranged as a surprise for you by your husband is one of my favorites. It's not the cost of something that makes a Disney souvenir valuable to me--it's all about the story behind it. And your little soaps have a charming story.

I agree, its lovely!!!!!:)

I agree :thumbsup2
I am however glad I'm not the only one who collects them :rotfl:

I love looking this thread, everyone has such lovely things.
DH treated himself to this yesterday, it's really nice. :thumbsup2 I really liked the new Donald Duck, I have dropped a couple of hints ready for Mother's Day!! ;) ;)

Karen, I love your cushion and camera bag, they are so unique. :goodvibes

oh I love the Donald one too and the goofy one:banana: I'm trying to calm my jets though as I'm running out of room really, don't want it spreading past the hall and living room really as I can't see them all the time!!:rotfl:

I got another on ebay last night...the grumpy for £15.99....about £25-£28 in the town so I couldnae refuse eh?:rolleyes1

Was thinking about putting my 3 big statue type ones on top of the kitchen cupboards though as I'm beginning to think the place is looking cluttered!

This is a poster I bought in 2000 on our first trip, which I framed when I got home. It is currently on the wall in one of our spare bedrooms. It has lots of hidden mickeys in the picture.

Here's an old map from Disneyland circa 1960. Space Mountain is drawn in as a future project and there's a tiny X where Pirates of the Caribbean was planned. Of course, there's no Big Thunder Mountain Railroad but there is a Old West area where later the ride would be built. In the days of this map there was a ranch just on the BTMR spot were horseback and stage coach rides were offered to guests.

This is a fairly ancient set of Main Street buildings.

Finally got round to uploading some pics... These are my main shelves at the moment, though there are other Disney bits dotted around the place.

I love the dog and caterpillar and oyster especially, they're from Tokyo Disney who seem to have more obscure character merch than the other parks :)

Cute little retro Minnie I got at DL

Glad you posted pictures of some of your Disney doodads, Lizzy. That's quite a collection of precious Boos peeking out around all your other cute and cuddly characters.

I got frames for a couple of pics from my trip to DLRP last year so I must go take a pic of them. They were supposed to be for the kids rooms but I loved so much they are in the dining room now LOL. I'll post them later

Here are the pic I promised earlier. sorry about the flash but I'm a bit pants at photos.
They are prints from stills in really old cartoons. I want to go back and see if they have different ones to add to the collection. I love them

You can make it out very well but all the signatures are on the bottom.

I've been moving her around with caution trying to get the best picture of her for a while now and have given up for fear of doing something silly. So here's the best I could get...she's my definate signature piece, I adore her!

Lizzy, I'm sure the Disney folks would welcome your suggestion. They're never opposed to an idea that might lead to selling more stuff.

Glenda,
I have note cards with these two designs--and two additional drawings, one of Pluto nose to nose with a turtle and one of Minnie stirring something in a mixing bowl. The colored print portion of the cards is 4 3/4" x 3 1/2". If they'd match your prints in size, save my information and if you can't find the prints you don't have next time you are at Disney and if you want them, let me know. I'll send you the cards.
