Of all your marvellous pieces, this is possibly the one I covet most; not only for its rarity value, but for the wonderful back-story. Mind you, the Haunted Mansion tapestries in your hall come a close second. Pics please! One more from the office: A map of the Magic Kingdom and Bay Lake--as it NEVER was. This was a room decoration in the Contemporary when it first opened and was the concept the Imagineers intended to develop. Many things were never done. For instance, locate where the Grand Floridian should be and you'll see a drawing of something very Asian. Directly across the lake from it there's another resort where there is none to this day. On the lakeshore just next to Autopia (or whatever they call it these days) there's a Taj Mahal looking resort. I hope you can see the detail well enough to see those and to spot other things that never materialized. Scott actually rescued this piece when he was walking back to the Contemporary many, many years ago and came upon some maintenance men breaking these and putting the pieces in a dumpster (the rooms were being remodeled). When he asked if he could buy one, Housekeeping gave him this one and all he had to do was arrange for it to be packed and shipped. It is a favorite among my favorites--as much for Scott's action as for the piece itself.

Here are some of my Disney treasures, all connected to precious Disney memories.
The greeters at my front door.

My Song of the South things, including the Golden Book I've had since I was 6 years old (with my name written in my first grader's handwriting).
![]()
My Snow White Golden Book also from the same era.

My computer room. A lot of the things on the shelf over the window were given to me by people who just couldn't bring themselves to throw away an old Mickey toy. They knew I'd find some room somewhere.

My late husband Scott painted a beautiful copy of John Hench's famous portrait of Mickey that hung in Walt's office.

That's more like it Susan, albeit once again I'm let down. Pictures of Disney friends? All I can see are Stringers![]()
You're forgiven in that case Susan. I went to see The Black Cauldron at the cinema when I was a young lad, one of Disney's better ones I think personally.I just hadn't gotten there yet, Matt. Here we are--you as Fred Flintstone, Debbie as Sin-derellla, Tammy as Cruella, Kevin as Cruella's henchman, India and Georgia as fairies--punk and sweet, respectively, and me as a gypsy fortune teller, just as we were leaving BWV to celebrate Halloween (2006) in EPCOT. That's Creeper from Teh Black Cauldron in the background and next to our photo.

I wanted to get my beeyatches WDW bowls for a couple of trips before I finally went for it! They were surprisingly easy to transport as I just squidged socks inside the base and top - job done!!!Then I saw the 101 Dal offering on the UK Disney Store website last Christmas and it's the same high quality so very pleased with that too...

If these aren't the cutest things! I've been letting my cats and dog (named Pluto, for goodness sake) eat out of plain old bowls. I've been wrong for that and need to get them proper bowls like yours ASAP. Thanks for the idea.
