Your trip is so close!!! While you're enjoying Disney, I'll be celebrating my nephew's 6th birthday at Bounce U, hoping not to get hit in the head by the giant inflatable boxing gloves

So glad the corn dogs agreed with you!!! Nothing worse than getting sick on vacation. I've never had a corn dog. I've made the trips to Nathan's in Coney Island for hot dogs and fries, but NEVER a corn dog. Your post has convinced me that I need to try them.

Yes, you must try Corn Dogs. They are so delicious. The ones at Casey's are good too because the batter isn't soggy like on the ones you buy at the grocery store. Nice and crisp and DELICIOUS.

I highly recommend taking a ziploc bag to place the remainder of the pretzel in - you can then take it back to your room with you, or snack on it later There is a reason Grandma brought those baggies when we ate out

So exciting in 2 weeks you will be headed to the airport.
I leave in 3.5 weeks and I am excited nervous ! I can only imagine how you must feel!

Well I figure I have Jen to finish off the pretzel, no ziploc needed.

I am that nervous/excited point where I just want to be here and it feels like it's never going too.

YAY to the POFQ stay -- beignets yum! AND those corn dog nuggets are good, I agree! My DS7 loved them! OH and LL I had a cream cheese pretzel on Christmas morning just for you !!! So excited for you!!!! This is going to be a great trip!! Dont fret about the weather. This is something you have no control over, and though that is frustrating, just concentrate on what makes you happy and excited for your trip!

I have never been to Casey's but your picture makes me want to go. We arrived late to POR last October. I packed what I needed for the night and they delivered our luggage the next morning around 6 or 7. It did make me nervous not having it with me that night. So, if I could do it again I would pick it up at baggage claim. Do you have a list of what you are shopping for at Disney?

I am sure others have responded but I highly recommend NOT using magical express for your luggage when you land that late. They have up to 3 hours to deliver it so either you'll get it after you are asleep or will have to call for it in the am. We checked ours for our 10:30 arrival and it was really fast to grab them and hop on DME. It would not have shortened the trip at all from checking in with DME to the wait on the bus if we'd have had Disney take care of our bags and I felt much better knowing we had all our night things, as well as our morning things, with us!

Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey's!

Want to know something funny? I specifically went to the grocery store and bought frozen mini corn dogs to try out.

Why?

Well because I hadn't had hot dogs since surgery and didn't want to find out in Magic Kingdom that they didnt' agree with me. Casey's is that important! LOL. I'm happy to report that they didn't bother me at all and I even had mini cocktail hot dogs at one of the Christmas Parties.

Casey's is a GO!

That is too funny!!! I love that picture by the way! I totally remember that was the last thing we did before I left that day...we ate at Casey's!!! Such great memories! So glad the corndogs worked out for you!!!! I can't wait to share again!

It's time for the "In Two Weeks....Game".

I know it's 15 Days until Disney but technically for me it's 14 days. So we are starting today.

In Two Weeks.....

Wednesday January 13th:
*Leave work @ 3PM
*Flight Departs @ 6:30PM
*Land in Orlando @ 10PM
*Check into Port Orleans French Quarter!

I am so excited to be staying at POFQ. I really can't wait to be there. I don't expect to be doing much this night. Basically checking in and going to sleep.

I have a bit of stress on this day though, I'm worried about there being snow which would mess with my flight. Also, I'm still not 100% sure what I'm going to do with my luggage. I have to figure out what happens with Magical Express taking care of your luggage when you land that late.

I figure that day of work I will pretty much be useless. Hopefully the day will go by fast though!

Let's see I will be giving the first of my midterm exams to my students, grading them and entering grades so they can be all done before I leave, well all but Fridays. I will also be finalizing my sub plans for about the 20th time...I mean how hard can it be to give an exam she should have no problem with that. I will also after work that day pick up the rental car and that evening will be packing up and doing all that last minute hoopla us DISers are famous for LOL!

LL, Glad corn dog nuggets passes the stomach test.

I've not eaten at Casey's at WDW--ever. i know Sacrilege.

We will have cordogs soon as well! Since Casey's was recommended as a great place to eat outdoors and we are determined to try corn dogs since we never had them, I am sure that this will be our lunch on our MK day!

It's very pretty outside of Casey's. I love the tables. Plus you get a view of the Castle, you can't beat that!

Carrot Cake Cookie!

It's not the best picture but you get the idea. You can get this little beauty at the Writer's Stop at Hollywood Studios.
Carrot Cake cookie sounds so yummy!! I'm a huge fan of carrot cake and I love cream cheese frosting so I know I will love this cookie!!!!! Have heard rave reviews about it!

Jen's Itinerary for the Day:
I will be giving my second set of finals this day. However the good news is that this is a half day. I'm hoping to get out as quick as I can and head straight for Orlando!!!

I'm not 100% sold on what I want to do this day. Part of me wants to add on the Park Hopper option to my ticket so I could hop over to Epcot to get a ride or two on Soarin' but I'm not sure. I think it depends on what I want to do this day.

And yes, that's two ADRs you see. I know it's not a good thing to do but I can't decide where I want to eat! Or if I want to eat at all. As it gets closer I will cancel one of them, or maybe both.

When I first added on this night I tried to get an ADR at Narcoosee's but they didn't have anything available on the earlier side.

What I do know is that my day will start at Magic Kingdom...after that is whatever I feel like doing!
