I loved the chicken bastilla - I too was curious about the cinnamon combo - but let me tell you it was melting bursts of yummy flavour in your mouth- not spicy, but exotic and sweet. I am drooling thinking about it. I couldn't stop telling everyone at the table how good it was. I ordered the appetizer chicken bastilla and it was large, it could have been my whole lunch! I then tried the chicken kebab as my main entree (we went for lunch). I also recommend the Moroccan Mint Tea, it was a nice change ( I ordered an ice water with lemon as well ) For dessert I had the morrocan symphony - baklava yumminess!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, the only thing I didn't like was they sat us right next to the music guys and it was loud! But boy did it feel like I was someplace else. . I am so excited for you both!

Oh, I am so glad you loved it! That makes me confident that we will enjoy the experience. I can't wait to see inside, I bet it's so pretty.

I am really looking forward to your dining review! And can't wait for the "in two weeks" posts. Can't believe it is almost - finally- here!

Have to comment on the tuna sandwich!
We were at MK on Christmas night and Marc asked me why we had never eaten at The Plaza...
I said that I really hadn't heard much about it except that it had decent burgers, but now that I have seen that tuna salad sandwich we are going next trip. Looks delish!

Dylan had little booties on because my Mom just put in new hardwood floors in her house and she was worried that Dylan would scratch them up. It was hilarious watching him prance around in the, he looked like bambi. He even wiped out a few times like Bambi did on the ice.

You are a mind reader! I was just looking at my packing list that I made two months ago, I need to revamp it and start packing. I'm just not motivated to do it, which makes no sense. Usually I'm packed by now.

Nope, haven't started packing. Well, if you count throwing all my traveling things into my suitcases. Mind you, there is no rhyme or reason to how I threw them in there.

I did not make tshirts this trip but......I do have some special ones on the way.

From what I've heard, the characters are just back while Crystal Palace is shut down for refurb. I'm not sure what they are serving for food though....

I am loving your PTR thus far! I have had a grand time reading all of your PTR this evening--great entertainment and twists. The one time I have gone to Disney eek we stayed at the POFQ and LOVED it!! I think it is pretty nice. I am looking forward to reading about SSR too.

The food countdown is such a yummy idea. Where do you find cream cheese pretzels? I love having soft pretzel's with cream cheese!!

I think we are going to really like POFQ. I can't wait to see it. I'm so excited about staying there PLUS I've read that there are some Princess and the Frog decorations up...so I hope they are still there.

You can get the cream cheese pretzel at Auntie Gravity's (I think that is what it is called), it's the snack shop directly underneath Astro Orbiter.

Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey's!

Want to know something funny? I specifically went to the grocery store and bought frozen mini corn dogs to try out.

Why?

Well because I hadn't had hot dogs since surgery and didn't want to find out in Magic Kingdom that they didnt' agree with me. Casey's is that important! LOL. I'm happy to report that they didn't bother me at all and I even had mini cocktail hot dogs at one of the Christmas Parties.

Casey's is a GO!

That is too funny!!! I love that picture by the way! I totally remember that was the last thing we did before I left that day...we ate at Casey's!!! Such great memories! So glad the corndogs worked out for you!!!! I can't wait to share again!

It's time for the "In Two Weeks....Game".

I know it's 15 Days until Disney but technically for me it's 14 days. So we are starting today.

In Two Weeks.....

Wednesday January 13th:
*Leave work @ 3PM
*Flight Departs @ 6:30PM
*Land in Orlando @ 10PM
*Check into Port Orleans French Quarter!

I am so excited to be staying at POFQ. I really can't wait to be there. I don't expect to be doing much this night. Basically checking in and going to sleep.

I have a bit of stress on this day though, I'm worried about there being snow which would mess with my flight. Also, I'm still not 100% sure what I'm going to do with my luggage. I have to figure out what happens with Magical Express taking care of your luggage when you land that late.

I figure that day of work I will pretty much be useless. Hopefully the day will go by fast though!

Let's see I will be giving the first of my midterm exams to my students, grading them and entering grades so they can be all done before I leave, well all but Fridays. I will also be finalizing my sub plans for about the 20th time...I mean how hard can it be to give an exam she should have no problem with that. I will also after work that day pick up the rental car and that evening will be packing up and doing all that last minute hoopla us DISers are famous for LOL!
