I think it's good to evaluate the trip length, even if you end up keeping it you'll feel better about it by looking at all your options for now, and a future trip.

My nephew's favorite is the bear that comes out of the ceiling on her swing. No idea why, but he's fascinated with that bear

I hope you have a email from your TA in the morning. BTW, what travel agency are you using? I've been reading lots of things about Magical Vacations.

I was fascinated with her too when I was little but seeing her as an adult, she just looks sad! I've been using Dreams Unlimited. I have to say that my TA is quick to get back to me and she is very knowledgeable. I emailed a few before settling on Dreams Unlimited and some of the TAs from other places that I heard back from...didn't exactly know what they were talking about.

My vote is for the park and fly, too! I love that I did that this past trip. I highly recommend it.

I'm going to call the park & fly place today. I think that is the way I want to go. So much easier on my stress level!

Just my opinion but I vote to shorten this trip and go again in the fall, cause 2 trips is more than 1! Then there still is that December option out there. Dec 14-20th for us at the Swan. So excited, cant wait to really get to start planning.

I don't think December next year is going to happen. We are going to be renting a camp with my parents for a week in August and since I have to take two of my vacation weeks together that rules out December for 2010. I will get there some year though in December!

When I worked with a TA for the November trip, it was REALLY hard for me to wait on her to see if we would get them. I emailed her finally and just had to ask... You are doing so well with just letting it go!

The 2 trips certainly sounds appealing...! I look forward to your decision with that.

Ooohhh, two trips sounds much better than one! I'd like to do three or four trips in a year (you know one for each season.) But, alas, the budget won't allow it (stupid budget)

I'd like to go every season too, it would be so much fun to do that one year to compare all the decorations and activities!

Oh.... I can't wait to hear what ADR's you got! You must be on pins and needles waiting to hear. Post right away....please!

That is a lot of Cobb Salad! Our waiter at BD was just gushing over the Cobb Salad last trip. I bet he has contributed to that 31,000.!

I am liking your idea of squeezing in a solo Fall trip! I am not trying to sway your decision or anything, but I hear you about the long trip and then another short trip. Sometimes its just not fiscally responsible! I am 95% sure I want to do a solo Fall trip. I will stay value and hopefully get free dining. I think the family unit can do without me for 4 or 5 days!

I think so many of us are thinking of doing Fall trips next year and I want to keep a few of my vacation days open for that. I could at least make it a long weekend. I really am bummed that I missed so many of you this fall. I don't want to do it again!!

You will do just fine I am sure! It's so much nicer not having the ADR stress let me tell you!

Yeah...see a slow response time would totally turn me off of a TA but that's just me. You could always see what they offer and then maybe see what others offer.

This morning I received an email from my TA at 9:06AM no less. I was quite impressed! I didn't even have time to get worried about them.

I'm 99% sure that I am going to go from the Wednesday the 13th to the Tuesday the 19th now so I am just going to show the relevant ones.

Our ADRs.

Wednesday – Liberty Tree Tavern – NOT AVAILABLE
Wednesday – Plaza – 2:10pm (booked as alternate)

Thursday – Brown Derby - 7:50pm

Friday – Kona Café – 5:05pm

Saturday – LeCellier – 5:35pm

Sunday – The Plaza – 5:15pm

Monday – Jiko – 5:50pm

Tuesday – 1900 Park Fare - 8:30am (earliest time available)

I am REALLY impressed with all the times we got. They are all right within our window except for 1900 Park Fare. Even then, it's not a bad time. Just wanted it a bit earlier so we could make rope drop. No biggie though. It's our last day so I think we will be happy with whatever we get to do that morning.

I did ask her to try for a Liberty Tree Tavern ADR on Thursday since our Brown Derby ADR is so late. My TA emailed me back and said that nothing is available at LTT for the month of January so far. She thinks it has to do with Crystal Palace going under refurb, she's heard rumors that the characters might be going over there while CP is closed. She's going to keep me posted. If I can't get LTT then I think I just won't have an ADR for arrival day or I might see if I can do Yak N' Yeti for dinner.

I have to say the ADRs were the thing that stressed me out most by using a Travel Agent and I am so happy with how everything worked out. I wasn't stressed and I didn't have to be on the phone forever. I would definitely recommend using a TA to anyone who is considering it.

I have heard about CP going under refurb..it's too bad it's closed cause that is such a popular one and so fun, but it probably needs a little TLC.

1900 Park Fare is one of my favs.

It's amazing that LTT is booked. I guess that's what closing one restaurant does.

Nice ADR list. I was really surprised that Liberty Tree was booked until you mentioned that Crystal Palace would be closed. That's kind of a bummer, but I'm sure it will be alright.

As for the "Where in Disney" pictures, is that the American Adventure? The scene with Mark Twain at the expo?

Great ADR list! That stinks about LTT but.....this is what I did my first night....I knew I would end up at MK and I really didn't want to eat anywhere there specifically so I booked an ADR at "The Wave" at The Contemporary. Boy we were not disappointed! The filet there was like butter...no knife needed! It was sooooo good.....and so easy...we just took the bus from AKV to MK and then took the monorail over to The Contemporary.
Another ADR I see that you have that you will love is Jiko! OMG....I had another filet there (the one served on mac and cheese with a wine sauce) Amazing!
