Is there any reason I couldn't take a permanent marker and write on the front side of my disney gift cards? For example - one larger one will be for my DS (under 3) all of his meals as well as our tips will come from it and I plan to mark it DINING - otherwise I want to mark each child's name so we don't mix them up as this is their spending money.

Feel free to Sharpie away! Writing on the card won't impact it.

We always write on ours, go for it. We give each person a gift card and that's their spending/souvenir money, when it's gone, it's gone. There are 5of us so we write our names on them. It's a great way to budget.

I did the same with ours. Some of them are $50 and some are $25 and I have one thats a rewards card. No way of telling them appart, so writing on them is the only way :)

Actually... Because of this thread, I went into my Disney GC stash, and numbered all of them. That way, I'll fully use one after the other, and pretty much know how much I have left at all times.
We didn't do this last time, and it was a PITA trying to figure out how much was on each GC, because I was just picking random ones each time, and at one time, we thought we had *a lot* more then we really did....
