Oh poo, that's not the direction I like to see things go I checked online and it was increased there now too, so I updated both columns. But maybe it's a recent roll out and some people might still see the $479? Also a $1 bump on the 3 pack online.

BB purchase 3/12, shop activity pending 3/14, bonus points posted 4/16!

Redeemed some for a discounted BB card, waiting for it to come in before doing next round (will make sure to purchase a $50 gift card with it though). I'm trying to decide how hard to hit this, our trip isn't for 7 months but my previous baseline for jumping on Disney gift card deals was 10%, this ultimately works out to 16.26% off for me (no freedom here, but am Elite at BB and I redeem for 1.5x when transfer my cfu points to csr)... Decisions, decisions!

I complained in the Swagbucks thread about the cashier not ringing my Swagbucks code but she did and I just got credited my 500 bonus. I purchased a Panera gift card and Firestick.

I planned on using Swagbucks to cash out on Walmart gift cards to buy the $144 gift card at Sam’s but I should instead get Best Buy gift cards as long as the 500 bonus is still there.

I think as long as you buy something else you should be fine. If you search their site, BB has great sales on hot items for a day or two that you can resell if you get stuck with the gift cards.

You mean purchase the gift card + a filler item? Wouldn't worry about it. All the rest of us are only purchasing gift cards, no issues. Only issue is the delay in getting 500 sb appears to be anywhere up to 5 business days from my research. Also, got to make sure not to give the cashier the SB code until after they scan your item.
ETA: your receipt will say something about Swagbucks around the middle if it was scanned properly

This. I've never purchased a "filler" item. Only $50 in Disney gcs. Sometimes paying in all Best Buy gcs, sometimes just partially. Haven't had an issue yet, knock wood.

Ahhh...I'm jonesing for a BB Gift Card deal for our trip in May...27 days away but who's counting Could use around $500 more. Maybe some good deals will surface as we get closer to Mother's Day. Yes, I'm anxiously(impatientl, lol), waiting for the next cashstar deal!! Thinking now would be good time to start it, then you couid get the $15 promo in time for moms to spend around Mother's Day, lol. Hopefully they are thinking like me, lol.

Wondering when cashstar/BB usually releases these deals, as in when during the week. It's Tuesday, if not today, wonder if we are out of luck for a deal being released this week?

I purchased a filler but as a just in case since I'm meeting min spend on my AMEX. While I don't think they get that level data at BB I figured why flag it with a flat $50 charge, even though it's a Dis card and should be fine.

Meijer has their buy $50 in gift cards get $5 in mPerks deal going again. Stack this with Chase freedom 5% on grocery this quarter. You can get Best Buy gift cards and use the Swagbucks promo to get an additional 12%. One of the better deals I’ve run into since the churning days.

When they offer it you pay $150 and get a $150 gift card. You can put in your Best Buy rewards number and earn rewards. Then at a later date they send you a $15 savings certificate which basically works like a gift card. Stack it with swagbucks qr and you have a nice deal.

My offer said the same thing, but the sign above the gift card display at my local stores only showed exclusions as normal. Visa, Mastercard, Amazon, HBO, and some others. I already completed a $500 purchase on Sunday and the mperks are in my account.

I don't remember if they did one for Mother's day but they usually do something for the "Dads and Grads" shopping period. Last year that was June with the savings certs coming out right after July 4. I never tracked patterns, but would they do promos so close together? I'm guessing it'd be one or the other. But who knows, probably all depends on how revenues are doing so far this year. If it's going poorly maybe they'll do both

I <3 this SB Deal! Realized I had stashed an Amex GC from a rewards program a while back. I put it back for "Disney money." Took it to BB Sunday. 5, $50 transactions. 5 sets of 500 SB posted today! Not too bad for money I didn't spend. It's making me want more and I'll be so sad when this deal ends.

The 5% Red Card discount only applies to purchases paid for WITH the red card. It won't discount anything paid for with a gift card. For example, if you buy a $50 disney gift card and pay $25 with a gift card and $25 with a red card, the 5% discount will only be on $25.

A couple things to keep in mind...
First, you can only use a Target gift card to buy a Disney gift card IN-STORE. You cannot do it online.
Second, check what denominations your store sells if you are planning a 1:1 conversion. For a long time, my local Target did not stock the $25 Disney gift cards and the smallest I could get was $50.
Finally, the only way to get the 5% Red Card discount is to pay with your Red Card. If you buy a $50 gift card and pay with a $25 Target gift card and put the rest on your Red Card, you will get the 5% discount on the $25 that you charge to the card.
....and as always, you may fall prey to the store that doesn't allow you to purchase a gift card with a gift card. Based on info from this thread, it looks like there are some stores in California that do not allow it.
