Has anyone had trouble with BJ's not activating Disney gift cards? We ordered from there before a year or so back, but stopped after the first time because the cards weren't activated and it was a big hassle. Now with Target not working, I was going to go back to BJ's so I could put it on a CC and get points back. Any experience lately with this issue?

I ordered from BJ's twice during March and April and didn't have any trouble. I placed the order on Saturday and had the cards in my mailbox on Wednesday. I loaded them into my Disney Gift Card site immediately - no problem.

Has anyone had success buying Disney gift cards from Best Buy online, using the Swagbucks QR code? I cleaned out the Disney gift cards at my local store through several visits in March, and it's been 2 1/2 weeks since I bought the last ones and they STILL have not restocked.

QR only works online for the bonus if it’s in the weekly ad I believe.

I think I remember someone posting how they got the Ibotta Days bonus by buying $100 BB GC + $10 bonus on eBay. I am going back and forth with Ibotta to get my $10, because they say it was excluded, but there was no where on the banner that stated exclusions.

If that was someone here, what did you do to get them to credit?

Yesterday: went to my local Target (Watertown, MA) and purchased $150 in Disney gift cards with Target gift cards no problem at self-checkout.

Today, same store: the payment wouldn't go through (I was using self-checkout) so someone came over to help. That person #1 called someone else over, said "he's trying to buy gift cards with gift cards." Person #2 said "sorry, you aren't allowed to do that." I said I just did yesterday, asked if there had been a policy change, she said "no, you've never been able to do that." So now I knew she didn't really know what she was talking about. I told her that I did yesterday, have been doing so for years as well. She said "that must have been a mistake, that's never been allowed." She called Person #3 over, explained it to him, he said "no, that's never been allowed" and walked away. I asked if I could try the next machine over (the one I used yesterday) and she said "it's not going to work either, but sure." I tried the other machine, broke it up into three smaller transactions ($200, $200, $100) and it went through with no problem. She looked shocked.

Very strange. I know some people had said Target was reporting a glitch and that it should be fixed, I'm wondering if the one machine has been updated so it works again and the other machine needs an update so it won't accept gift cards.

The problems is the misunderstanding that Target folks think "entertainment cars" are the same as "gift cards". My understanding is that you cannot purchase Target or Amex/Visa/MC gift cards with a Target GC. But you can definitely purchase "entertainment" GCs with a Target GC or Amex/Visa/MC GCs.

Easiest way is to load up the Target GCs to your phone app, then when asked, you tell them you are using Target Pay for payment. Then you simply scan your Target GC from your phone.

It would be easier if we could combine Target GCs... Supposedly we can with a "mobile gift card" account but how do we get this? https://www.target.com/spot/giftcards/faq

Even though it doesn't apply to me (yet), it doesn't look that appealing. The 1% "rebate" (good towards a future purchase) that doesn't stack with the RedCard discount, and a 50% discount off of a Shipt membership are the only benefits they are offering?? I guess I don't see the point.

Not everyone has their credit card and I'm sure the benefits will include more benefits including exclusive emails for discounts prior to the general public.

No, you would only get 50 SB, the 2 SB/$1 in shop and earn credits. In order to get the 500 SB bonus, you have to spend at least $50.

You need to make a $50 purchase but yes you can. So you can buy a $50 gift card and put your $25 towards it and then pay the rest out of pocket.

I had $20 on the line...I went back and forth at least 3 emails each way. I just told them that it didn't say anything about gift cards being excluded. I also mentioned, I had a "friend" who had done the exact same deal and got the bonus.

They kept saying it shouldn't work. Finally, they gave it "this one time as a gift" or something to that effect. I really didn't think they would after their first response. Best of luck to you!
