As excited as I got about the Sam's Amex offer, I'm thinking it makes more sense to get $1,250 in Sam's Club gift cards (for $1,000) and use at Sam's and/or Walmart to get free groceries for the next x months. Would love to purchase the Dis gift cards, but I'm not sure it makes sense. Thinking its better to continue buying Dis gc's at Kroger during 4x promos. I feel like a big buzz kill . . .

Boo....just checked my Amex, but I don't have the Sam's offer. Still looking to purchase 1k in discounted Disney gift cards to pay off room charges for my trip next May. Already took advantage of the Discover Card 5% cash back on $1,500 spent at Sam's. Bought Disney gift cards and combined on disneygiftcard.com to purchase our AP's; had to call Disney to get the AP purchase to work....CM thought it was a glitch in system not allowing the transaction online. Cash back posted to Discover card within two weeks.

Really? I'm trying to think back to when I've bought gift cards . . . I recall buying JCPenney gift cards on a JCPenney offer about a year ago and didn't have a problem getting the statement credit. Also Petco. Same with the Sheetz offer recently. Has anyone else had a problem getting the Amex statement credit when buying gift cards? I may wait for some data points on this specific offer before buying.

Hello! I've been following along on this thread, but I admit I'm a newbie at this and haven't ever stacked deals like you awesome people do. It seriously looks like an art form!
I have a Sam's membership; is this currently the best way to get a discounted Disney gift card? Our trip is already paid for, but I was thinking it makes sense to get a GC for souvenirs and our OOP meals/tips. Our local club does have some $500 gc's left for $475, and they have the $150 gc's for $143. Not sure if there's something else I could do that would save more money than that. TIA!

I had luck buying GC too but I think it varies per offer.

If you have a discover card they have 5% back on Sam's club this quarter.

If you have Meijer near you and if your GameStop allows GC-GC there is an mperk for $10/$50 GameStop which plays nicely with the $3/$50 reward also.

I got an email from Best Buy for a certificate in store that reveal $5-$500 value. They will tell you value before purchase. The fine print does not disclude 3rd party gift cards. If you are getting a $25 gift card that is 20% off. Not a huge value of gift card but I will be driving by there tomorrow anyways and will take any 20% off gift cards I can find nowadays for Disney. Planning a cruise for next Nov.

I got the Best Buy email as well. Of course mine was only a $5 reward but I can confirm that it worked on a $25 Disney gift card without a hitch. Timing was great in my case too because I was literally across the street from my Best Buy when I noticed the email so it only took an extra 5 minutes out of my day.

They did for me. We made DH one. Put in cc and then they flagged it. Had to call in to verify our card and they said you can't make 2 accounts for same household and use one cc. It was annoying but I've gotten away from Raise a little anyway - too time consuming to find the deals then have to rush in store bc u can't use the Target gc online anymore or stack the red card.

@Minnie368 - It seems this particular Sams offer is on the business cards. But I don't know in general which cards get which offers. Seems kinda random to me. Check out the Blue Cash Preferred and Blue Cash Everyday. No fee on the everyday, and the fee on the Preferred is worth it imo due to the 6% back at grocery stores. I tend to get decent offers on both cards.

Use different phone and names. we have 7 cell phones in the house, I made a new account with each. same address is fine.

Not quite. We have 2 Amex business cards and the offer is on neither. Looks like this offer is as random as the other AMEX offers.

Thanks! I got this on two cards. I see Amex also has an offer for $25 off $250 on Newegg .com until 12/31/16. Newegg sells a number of gift cards, including Kmart, eBay (ugh), Visa (plus activation and shipping), hotel, cruise and airlines, prepaid wireless, iTunes, Hulu, Playstation and Xbox.
