Ibotta has 5% back at Best Buy--it says it won't work on gift card purchases but does anyone know for sure? Would be great if you could use this with the Amex offer to buy Disney gift cards.
No it's an in store rebate for 5% in my app. Maybe there are different offers???I see $5 off a $100 in store purchase. Is that the one?

They have Target, Best Buy, and WalMart, which all work. You would have to take the Wal-Mart cards to Sams (or Sams.com) to trade them in, but if you have a membership, Sams gives you $150 of Disney for $143.98. Target can only be used in the store with a gift card, and Best Buy can sometimes be bought online with a gift card. Both Sams and Best Buy charge postage if you buy online and have it shipped to you; only Best Buy lets you buy online and pick it up in the store.Question. I have a ton of Mypoints to use. Are there any gift cards I can get through mypoints that I can use to then buy Disney cards?
I've ordered them. I didn't have any issues, but they were very slow to ship.Anyone have experience ordering the $500 sams disney gift cards? They limit 1 per order, so I placed 3 orders, hoping they don't all cancel.
Wow, I didn't realize that it would fill up that quickly!Best Buy Amex offer is now full.
I also used Twitter to get the Best Buy offer yesterday too! The offer itself wasn't on any of my cards. Unfortunately I only snagged it once as I wasn't sure we'd even use the offer. The most embarrassing part? I FORGOT Best Buy had gift cards! The thought never occurred to me. C'est la vie, at least I'll be able to use the offer once. The real kicker? We had a last minute addition to the trip so I ran over to Target and bought $250 in Disney gift cards yesterday to get the 5% off...
Yes, I did exactly that. I wanted to know how much mine was so I would know how much to put on the Disney gift card I was buying it with along with some other rewards I had saved up.Questions about Best Buy's Mystery Reward certificate. I got one and I'm trying to figure out how best to approach using it. The certificate supposedly has a mystery value of $5-$500, but has to be scanned in store to reveal its value. Can I ask the cashier to scan the certificate first before having something to buy? and to be sure, can I use this certificate for Disney gift cards?

Yes, that is exactly what I did. She told me it was worth $5. I had two rewards and a couple small gift cards too. I used them all together with the mystery certificate and got a Disney gift card loaded with $40.So you presented the certificate to the cashier first and asked how much it was worth, then decided how much you wanted on the variable Disney gift card?

I guess I didn't notice that on the certificate, but there was no line at check out anyways.
That's pretty much what I thought- plus I wanted to use my rewards before they expired too. After I posted it dawned on me that I would have to stand in line anyway to pay so it doesn't really save me any time. I'll just go in with a plan for how to spend the reward no matter what the amount.

New Amex offer...Spend $250 at Best Buy, get $25 back. Hurry and add it to your card, as these offers can sometimes fill up quickly.
