No I meant buying up to $300 in gift cards in multiple transactions. Or, do you only get one transaction (online) no matter if you bought a $25 or a $300 gift card. If I can't do multiple transactions, I can I purchase multiple GCs (up to $300 total) in one transaction (for example 12 $25 GCs)

I don't know the answer to your question - I bought the max online, then in-store, too.

Why would you need to make multiple transactions? I'm thinking, depending on your situation, there may be a way to allow you to do it all in one transaction.

Two years ago I had planned to do three separate $100 transactions because I wanted to pay with three $100 Visa gift cards that I had purchased at a discount and I could only pay with one Visa gift card per transaction. Unfortunately I discovered that after the first transaction it no longer gave me the 10% off. I ended up using my son's login to do a second $100 transaction and then did a third on my iPad as a guest. So it seems like you get one chance online with the discount on up to $300, if they do the same this year. I did hear of people buy multiple denominations in one transaction rather then buying one $300 gift card.

Last year we could only buy it once per online account, I don't about in store. The ecard failed to deliver and Target cancelled the order and we tried to use the coupon again and it wouldn't let us (I was quite upset). I think we had to use a different log in online because we eventually got one but our main purchaser was told coupon had already been used.

In store can do $300 per transaction. So you can just go to a different register or visit multiple stores and you can purchase many times. I would suggest that you call your credit company first and let them know if you plan to make multiple transactions - especially the Citibank double cash card - they seem to freeze my account on any transaction over $200.

Target 10% off GCs questions...
Does anyone remember, could you make multiple transactions online, as long as they all total $300 together? Or is it just one?
Also, are we still allowed to buy a target gc with another target gc online?
Lastly, can we buy multiple cards online (if I can't do multiple transactions)
TIA!!

Last year I bought two orders worth of $300 in target gc's thru my online target acct. I'm the only one of us that have an acct. I did it late in the evening and paid with my paypal credit, interest free over 6 months. I had two charges of $270 on my paypal acct that I paid over 6 months.

You are 100% right. I haven't ordered 1 thing from target since the change. I wasn't the type to just add a filler item either. I trained my daughter to write things on a pad that she needs like deodorant tampons and school supplies. Sometimes it would be an extra $50. They are not seeing a penny of my everyday spend anymore.

Yep, me too, I haven't ordered anything at all, not one thing, since target changed everything.

That make me so sad-I have two Amex cards, a sam's club membership and no offer
As for discounted membership Groupon will run deals from time to time-not sure if there is one now

It must be highly targeted. I have 5 cards, but the offer is only on one. Will check Groupon - thanks!

There IS a Sam's Club offer under Groupon. $25 for a 1-year membership, $5 e-gift card and a free rotisserie chicken. Just search Sam's Club on the Groupon website.

Off to check my AmEx cards!

There are some caveats with the Sam's Groupon: Offer valid for new Sam’s Club Members only; not valid for those with a current membership or those who were Sam’s Club members less than 6 months prior to October 11, 2016. If you need to check your renewal date, call 1.888.746.7726 and choose option #2, then option #1. Please have your membership card or statement on hand. Offer valid for U.S. Sam’s Clubs only; not valid in Puerto Rico locations.

Thank you @Eighty8Keys ! For the same reason. I have $25 Visa GCs (digital thru SB) and wasn't sure if I could multiple transactions to use them.

Unfortunately, I'll be in the air most of December 4, on the way to Thailand. I would like to buy $1,500 to $1,800 in Target GC's for 2 AP's. I guess that my options are to give several family members $270 a piece to buy the cards in store and go online to buy the allotted $300 worth of cards. I would prefer to buy with a credit card online. If I opened 5 more Target accounts with family member names, would I have to use 5 different email accounts, or 5 different addresses or 5 different credit cards? Basically, I'm asking what information is most likely to raise red flags with Target? Thanks!

Sorry, but one other question. Will the Target gift card sale start at 12:00 AM central standard time. My flight leaves LAX at 12:05 AM, so that would allow me to buy the cards online before boarding the plane.

If you have the GCs ahead of time, you could buy (non-discounted) Target GCs ahead of time, then merge them via customer service. This assumes that you're going in-store and that you'll still be able to buy a Target GC with a Target GC when the offer comes, but that's been the case up to this point so far, so while not guaranteed, odds are still good.

I don't recall the exact time it went live last time, but I have a vague recollection it was between 5 and 6 am EST.

Can anyone comment on which Amex cards get these offers? Can it be any Amex or just certain ones? I saw someone said this last offer seemed to target business cards, but just wondering if there's one that gets more offers than others. I have done a lot with the various Chase cards for sign up bonuses but have never gotten an Amex card because they always seem to have higher annual fees.

As excited as I got about the Sam's Amex offer, I'm thinking it makes more sense to get $1,250 in Sam's Club gift cards (for $1,000) and use at Sam's and/or Walmart to get free groceries for the next x months. Would love to purchase the Dis gift cards, but I'm not sure it makes sense. Thinking its better to continue buying Dis gc's at Kroger during 4x promos. I feel like a big buzz kill . . .
