Do all BB allow purchase of ebay GC with a BB GC? Or is it a YMMV?

From what I have read, it depends on the manager in each store as well as the clerk you happen to get when you shop. Some people have no problem, some people try several stores until they get a willing cashier.

Has anyone else seen that Best Buy sells products on ebay - including gift cards!? I was looking for gift cards that I would use to get more ebucks, and on searching for Starbucks' cards, I saw some for sale at BB. They offer free delivery - because you pick it up in the store. Live and learn.....

There's always a chance they they can run out, but I just found ebay cards on their site. But if you live near a BB, they carry ebay GCs in many of the stores.

has anyone ordered $200 ebay from target ordered last night and its still processing. wondering if I should cancel the order. its stays backordered beside the gift cards. never had it take over 24 hours to email the codes. also never saw them backorder anything.

My last 4-5 Target orders of ebay GC's have taken 15-24 hours. Not sure what is up but it seems to only be happening to certain people. My aunt is still getting hers in under an hour.

For those of you who get the hotels dot com gift cards. Can they ONLY be used on reservations booked through the hotels dot com website? I was thinking if they could be used AT a hotel that would be useful.... guessing not, however.

I have only used them on the hotels.com site. I doubt the actual hotel would accept them. If you are staying at a Hyatt or a Choice group hotel, I have seen those GC's on eBay as well.

None of the local stores by me carry eBay GCs. You mentioned that Best Buy has an eBay store, so I was hoping maybe they'd carry them there. They do not.

It won't work. With hotels.com/Expedia, you pay them and they pay the hotel directly.

YMMV. My store had no problem with it - I did a $25 GC. I'm afraid to do a few hundred but eventually maybe I'll take the plunge.

In store. I used a BB card from PPDG, and they scanned my phone. Every person I have ever heard say that they tried it online, has had their order cancelled.

So here's another data point. I had a $10 eBay coupon that expires on Friday (got for selling my first item on eBay last month) and since GCM Didnt restock target cards I decided to use it yesterday (with the bonus eBay bucks offer) to get a $50 BB ecard. I then used it online to purchase a new camera bag I wanted that was $26 and a $25 Disney gift card for in store pickup. I haven't picked it up yet but I did get the confirmation yesterday that my order is ready for pickup.

Hmm, that one sounds pretty good. As someone mentioned earlier, you can also do a Hotels . com GCs from eBay to use with their 8% off and a cash back portal. Travelocity has also been having 15% sales pretty frequently, but idk if those are over. We need a hotel near Murfreesboro, TN (halfway point) so I've been looking for a good deal too.

Apologies in advance for going off topic here, but I figure if anyone has insight, it will be this group! Any experience booking a cruise on Priceline via Ebates? Ebates is offering 18.5% cash back today, so I took advantage since we have a non-Disney cruise booked for next summer. 18.5% is huge on a cruise fare!! Too good to be true? Always a skeptic here. Thoughts?

I would take a screen shot of where it says 18.5% on cruises so if any issue comes up, you'll have your proof.

Thanks for the info. I am not at all familiar with Atlanta. We are driving in from PA and my DS is flying to NOLA to see his GF. I'm then going to TN to see my sister while he is there. It's a strange, disjointed trip for me.

I was looking at the Marriott by the Airport. It gets good reviews, but it is on the pricey side and it looks like they charge $18 to $20 extra per day for parking.

Sorry to go off topic. I'm just in unfamiliar territory. Hard for this uber planner. LOL
