Disney Gift Card Deals

There is an account limit on how many cards you can redeem. My account has met the limit and I can't get any more $10 Disney gift cards, unfortunately.

I always try to get one anyway just in case. I went past the limit of four a long time ago, but was able to get one or two $10 Disney gift cards this past December and I think once last summer too. Didn't work for me this morning though.

Thanks, but I go to my addresses, there is nothing for an email? I even clicked edit address, it dosen't show my email. Anyone have nay ideas how to change it?
Thanks!

Go to target .com
At the top, click where it says, "Hi [your name]"
Click "Manage my account"
Scroll down to Address Book
Click "Manage Addresses"

I'm not sure if this has been posted somewhere as there are a lot of pages here. But I just noticed last night that MyDisneyRewards.com currently has Disney Gift cards on there $10 amount for 1100 points. I grabbed 2 and hope they are here before my trip in 4 weeks. Kids aren't interested in any of the other rewards on there so I'm glad I saw them, after adding my Star Wars BluRay code :)
Sorry if this sounds stupid, but are the rewards you are talking about for the Disney Visa or the Movie Club or something else?
When I clicked on the link that came up with MyDisneyRewards in your post, it directed me to the Disney Visa Card info page, but the rest of your post, and the follow-on posts, sound nothing like the Visa program

Has anyone bought gift cards through rakuten (formerly buy .com)? GCM seems to be a seller on there and right now they have 10% back in points (their version of eBay ebucks). I can't find anywhere stating that gc purchases aren't eligible, nor can I find anything stating you can't redeem the points for gift cards. The only stipulations are that you can't use a shopping portal and you must use their checkout, not PayPal, Google wallet, checkout by visa, etc. If you've used this site before to purchase cards, I'd love to hear your experience!

No experience, but I just looked.

GCM has up to $500 target cards available.
The 10% points back is a special offer that ends tmorrow. Normally it is 1%
Good if you are buying cards for the first time for churning. But their GCs are not sold outside of Rakutan to add to the churn process.

Right, I forgot to add that it would be good for those looking for a place to get Target cards to start the process. It's too bad GCM doesn't offer the same $500 Target cards on eBay!

Oh!

Your email address is your account log-in. I don't think there'd be any way to change that without creating a new account.

My Target ban has been lifted! I thought for sure I was banned for life. I had 3 orders cancel last week. Last night I placed a $200 Ebay order & it was filled overnight. So anyone else that was having problems might want to give it another go.
I had several orders cancelled on March 14-15, so I took a break and was able to order a $200 card on April 7th. I tried to order another $250 in cards yesterday (2 $100s and 1 $50) and the order was cancelled. I'm afraid I am getting locked out. I will wait a few more days before trying again, and add another item to my order to see if that helps. I've also thought about trying to order from my wife's account but if I got her banned from Target .com I'd never hear the end of it. (Although we share a Target RedCard and mailing address so if I get banned she'll probably be banned also. Will cross that bridge if I come to it, lol.)

I am in the same boat. I was curious though because you mention that your RedCard is shared between your Wife and yourself. Does this mean you each have your own Target.com account? But same physical Redcard? Or does she have her own authorized Redcard in the same Redcard account?

I have a silly theory that the limitation is not a Redcard limitation, but a Target.com Account limitation.

UGH, it has been 48 hours since my order for egift cards from target. I broke down and called. First person I talked to couldn't do anything. Said they see that the order was "shipped". Sent me to higher up person. That person could see that I only received the one $50 egift card, but since it showed the other three as being shipped she could neither cancel nor refund my order. So, she put a "ticket" in and said I should hear back within 24 hours. Either they "find" my cards or give me a refund. I am not panicking - since Target says that they can see that I did not receive the ecards and they are not available to me anywhere. Still, I hope that this doesn't flag my account. I hate that I had to call, but I also can't just leave $250 of ebay cards on the table either.

I don't think there is an across-the-board limit, because some people have been banned for amounts that are far less than the amounts purchased by others who have not been banned. My theory is that there is a threshold that is set for each account (or perhaps redcard) that is somehow a function of past purchases. It seems the best way to get banned is to dramatically change your typical purchasing pattern. So if you buy a lot from target generally, I think it is less likely that a few huge purchases will get you banned than if you typically only spend smaller amounts.

Janet, I would put all of this into a letter to the COO or CEO of ebay. After your explanation, tell them exactly what you want them to do ( for example: refund your money, grant you a coupon, etc.) . This is obviously an IT problem AND a customer service problem. If you don't get a satisfactory answer, I'd forward your letter to a consumer affairs reporter at a major TV network

I did send a letter to every ebay executive I could find. I also filed a BBB complaint. Today I was told by a supervisor that ebay gift cards, specifically egift cards, have been causing transactions to freeze during ebay checkout but still processing the money as if it went through. This is exactly what happenned in my case. However, she says that there is no resolution at this time and while "they would love to return my money, they aren't sure if that is possible or when it may happen." This ebay manager tells me that there are daily reports on this issue but nothing they can do. "I recommend not using gift cards at this time" is what she told me. I asked her when ebay was going to warn the public about this and she said," it really isn't affecting that many people and we are telling those people the same thing we are telling you." I let her know I would contact the media to warn others and she had nothing to say other than, they are working on the issue.

With all the problems from Target lately from everyone, I'm almost tempted to skip the 5% and just go to the store and get the actual card.

For those who are getting their orders with gift cards canceled, have you tried putting in GC-less orders? I put in orders for just groceries and everyday essentials every now and then to mix up my order history so that every order isn't one with a gift card. I admit I sometimes do this after a cancelation just to check that my account isn't banned. I know other people here occasionally don't activate Ebates. I'll also occasionally order just a gift card without an add-on item, essentially forgoing the cash back, again to vary my shopping patterns.

To be honest with you, I wouldn't have wasted my time with the BBB as they are useless. Most people don;t know that companies pay them money to keep them "certified" without doing anything but giving them "ratings". My friend owned a business that used BBB in the past, and they would only ever contact him about membership dues.

The BBB has no power to enforce business to do anything they don't want to, and IMO a scam.

But one poster purchased $30,000 or so of Disney and eBay gift cards before being banned. So their purchase history changed dramatically and target did nothing until after.

I wonder if they compare purchases to stated income (I assume they asked for that on the debit card application, I can't remember. I'm sure they asked for the credit card). So if you make $50 k and buy $20 k in gift cards, you're probably a reseller.
