Thank you very much I'll give this a shot! Does anyone have a link to the cheapest eligible item on target?

There was some really good discussion last month with examples of what we've added on to get Ebates credit.

Some of the least expensive items that count for ebates credit are in the school & office supply category (pencils, index cards, folders, notebooks, markers, glue, rubber bands, etc). Also, hand soap, clearance socks, undies, mittens, party supplies, placemats...

All good examples.

I'd add that you should mix it up with your add-on items. You shouldn't buy the same item for every order just because it happens to be the cheapest item. It creates a pattern and it'll draw Target's attention.

For example, a wood ruler used to be the cheapest add-on item at $0.25 to trigger cash back for the entire order. Well, so many people bought the wood ruler with gift cards so often that it would show up as a "You might also like..." item on the gift card pages, and Target eventually increased the price of the ruler to $0.49. I'd hate for Target to look any further, say at your account specifically.

ETA: Plus, what would anyone do with all those rulers?

When you say hand soap, do you mean something like soft soap? Not to get too personal, but has anyone tried monthly feminine products?

Soft Soap and up & up brand soaps have both worked for me as a qualifying add-on item. up & up is cheaper at $0.79, compared with most Soft Soaps at $0.99. My wife prefers the Soft Soap scents though.

Yes, both brands have worked for me too . However, I, like your dw, prefer the Soft Soap scents so that is what I buy. I live in a house with 4 bathrooms and a kitchen sink (and 4 germy kids lol) so we go through plenty of hand soap!

Thank you! I like soft soap better too. I normally purchase it in-store so this is good to know.

I agree with @Lain, I vary the filler item with every order. And I am always looking for new items. WHen I find them, I save them to my cart so all I have to do is go in and add it. I may order the same item every 20'ish orders. I also order things I need. One of my dd's will have a b-day in a month so I am buying dvd's, cute clothes, etc. Legos were on sale at Target recently so I started buying for Christmas and another b-day in the fall. Sometimes, I skip ebates completely. The easiest items to find are the ones you need anyways.

I have not tried feminine products. It would be nice to know if they worked.

...Are there any other portals that are known to credit for GC-only purchases from Target? If I have something else I need to buy and can do it in the same order as my GC's I will use eBates, but I don't want to purchase items I don't need just to maybe get credit from eBates....
I've always used Ebates with my Target gc purchases and they always show up for me when I put something else in my cart. I have yet to not have something credit. So, for me, it's not been maybe get credit, I've luckily been successful as long I've used Ebates. For example, I usually purchase $450 at a time,(3 $100's, and 3 $50's, and get my %5 off, ), usually add a small item under a $1, and I've been getting about $8.57 ebates credit, so to me that's definitely worth it! There's a couple places I can donate to when I do the school or office supplies, and I've even brought a few things in to work and been reimbursed for them!
Has anyone experienced a delay in shipping from ebay for Target cards lately? I ordered 3 $150 cards very early Friday morning and got the confirmation and receipt for payment by 6 AM. They are not showing as shipped yet. Is this normal? All my other orders , even during the extra bucks promos shipped within a day.
Yes, the last two promos took extra long to get here for sure! Particularly the last one, I placed 5 orders during the last promo and the last day with the $15 off $75, on 3/30-31. Finally got my two bigger orders mid week, they took a while to show shipped but finally did and they arrived a bit late from the date, but only about a day. Then I finally got my last three between Thu and Sat, and they still don't show as shipped! But, they just arrived by the date. Frustrating, as all my orders used to arrive in just less than a week and a few days short of estimated delivery. I did contact them when it was a day before or two before expected delivery and didn't get any response until after they were delivered, and then they referred to old deliveries that were long since passed. So, in the end I got my gc's and most by the expected delivery date, or just after, but it was frustrating.
Thank you for that suggestion. I tried that and it still only shows the one $50 card... I think the order is just in some weird limbo land now.
Hmm, very strange, but hope you get your 3 gc's very soon without any more trouble!
if you setup a usp my choice account you can see if any package is shipped to your address. just go to ups.com tracking tab access ups mychoice
Yeah, but doesn't it have to be already being showing as shipped? I have the UPS choice acct but it won't show if they don't give a tracking number will it? And, of course, the order has to be over $750.

As others have said, some of the lowest eligible items are office or school supplies. But, wherever I choose to look for something to get, I use the relevance filter to display items priced low to high so all the lowest priced items show at the top, then I can decide where to do from there.

I just wanted to update. I got the shipping notice for this order this morning . Ordered Friday very early AM and got shipping notice very early Tuesday.

I had some old target gift cards with partial balances, so I used them tonight. You have a limit of 4 cards that can be used at a time, so I only ended up with enough for a $50 card. When I searched on ebay cards, only a $200 card came up! My heart just sunk. But then I searched for $50 cards, and I was able to find some for ebay. Weird!
We had run out of scotch tape, so I got 3 rolls for $3.04, so I ended up paying 15 cents over my cards. I think I can deal with that. And I already see an Ebates credit for $1.01!!
Thank you everyone for teaching me how to use ebates for this!

I have 2 more questions.
1- are the notices for ebay bucks promotions personalized? Or can more than one person use them, similar to Pampers codes?
2- is there a limit of how many ebay gift cards you can use per purchase, like there is on target?

1. I don't know if I would use the word "personalized" but it does seem targeted. An offer is either available to your eBay account (you'll see the banner, get the message and email) or it's not, and if it is then you have to click to activate it. It's not a code that you can share and type in somewhere as you shop and pay. And I don't think you can send the offer email from one account to someone else so they can activate the bonus on another account.

2. eBay rules say 8 cards per transaction, but members here have been able to use upwards of 14-15 cards. The only hard limit is $1000 worth of cards per transaction. Note that if you're also spending eBay Bucks, that doesn't count toward the $1000 gift card transaction limit.

@MinMou no, promos aren't able to be used by anyone other than the eBay account the promo was sent to. I actually tried once to use the promo code on DD25's acct, pasting the link into the address bar while in her acct and it said something about it not being valid or eligible or something, forget exactly what but definitely not able to be used on a different acct.

So, looking for thoughts on placing Disney gc orders. I did one for $200 in the wee early hours and ninety min later it said it was shipped! Wondering if most think it's safe sending one order a day, or does it need to be every other day? Or two days in a row and skip a day? I mean that's less than the $500 limit on hundreds I thought another poster mentioned. Just trying to get other opinions on being safe with this. Also, what about one Disney order in a day, 50's since hundreds are out, and then an eBay cards order in the same day? I'm thinking I probably wouldn't but since they each have their own limits thought I'd seek out other opinions. That's only a thought if a promo comes out, and I already have 900 converted already but still might want to add in another 450, i don't know, just thinking things over, sort of talking it out here looking for helpful thoughts lol. Of course for a promo I still have my ebucks to spend, lol! TIA!

Daily Target .com orders? That kind of frequency will likely draw attention. Even two in a row, skip a day and then two more consecutive days is too frequent IMO.Why take the chance of getting banned?

Twice in a week is my personal limit with Target .com. It seems to work well and I haven't had any orders canceled since I set this limit for myself.

Most probably already know but just wanted to share that you can copy and paste Target gift cards to account. Go to "manage account" then "manage cards". I don't know how it is for others but I can't copy and paste gift cards #s when paying.

I'm not sure if this has been posted somewhere as there are a lot of pages here. But I just noticed last night that MyDisneyRewards.com currently has Disney Gift cards on there $10 amount for 1100 points. I grabbed 2 and hope they are here before my trip in 4 weeks. Kids aren't interested in any of the other rewards on there so I'm glad I saw them, after adding my Star Wars BluRay code :)

Oh! So glad you mentioned the Star Wars movies! I need to add mine - we just bought the entire set!

ETA: No codes for me. :-(

Unfortunately, about a year or two ago, DMR began limiting Disney gift cards to 4 per lifetime.

I'm also not interested in any of the rewards except for the Walt Disney Studio tour! 15,000 points here I come!

There is an account limit on how many cards you can redeem. My account has met the limit and I can't get any more $10 Disney gift cards, unfortunately.

Boooooo!

Thanks!!! Got signed up and already picked up the movie. Next time I am in Walmart I will try to return it for a giftcard-unopened and havethe reciept- because I couldn't resist and spent some of my ebucks on the movie already!
Do you think TopCashBack will remove your reward if you return the movie? I had my husband do this offer. I think we will either give it as a gift or keep a good while before returning.

Me too. Looks like my husband is getting a DMR account.
