It is certainly irritating that Ebay/Paypal keep sending you back and forth between the two. I only had to call there once and that was enough for me. So sorry that happened to you!

I've been browsing a pawn shop by my job for video games to flip at Gamestop and found a couple of the Wii Sports games for the original Wii that they were selling for $2 each. They trade in at Gamestop for $9 each :)

I've also been haggling for cheap games at the pawn shop to flip back at Gamestop. On the 15th, if you're a power up pro member, they're giving you an extra $10 in credit for 2 Xbox One/PS4 games. Hopefuly the promo stacks... I've got 8 games to trade. Hoping values don't tank before then.

If I luck out and values hold, I would cash out $250-270 give or take for $140 out of pocket :)

Is there a way to find out what Gamestop is paying for certain games? Or do you just know from working with it so often? I actually have those old wii games and would have never though they'd be worth $9. I wonder what some of the others that we have are worth.

Just the Wii Sports games are $9. A lot of the other ones are worth less for the original Wii.

Head to http://www.gamestop.com/trade for looking up values on the games. I usually have this up on the app when browsing the pawn shops/stores I've been going to. If I can find a games value over than what I can haggle for it, I'll buy it.

I'm trying only to quote the reply to me so it might not look right. Sorry if I wasn't clear in my previous post. I meant anyone could post their referral link in the Facebook group.
If there were a lot of Referrals on that thread, the admins probably thought it was easier to delete the whole thread instead of the many select posts.

This is the weirdest order ever. Now, I received an email from target saying that they have shipped my other ebay egift cards, but I have not received the separate egift email that I always get from target. So, I went through the email that I did get with the one $50 egift card yesterday but it only shows that one and not the other 3. I am going to give it some more time since it appears that the order did go through - but no idea why I haven't gotten the egift card link. Very strange. I even tried logging in through the egift card center with my order number but the gift cards are not there.
Well, since the first few times I ordered target cards, I never get the email with the links to the cards so I always go they the target egift card link. Just a suggestion, but what are you using for the zip code? There are two options to try there - either your own actual zip code or try 00000. So
Sometimes mine works but usually have to use 00000. It seems a bit random, I use the zeros and it works several times, and suddenly doesn't work and try my own and it opens, then next orders are back to the zeros. Anyway, just a suggestion if you have t tried that yet. Sorry if I missed that part. Good luck!

Has anyone tried this process with purchasing pre-paid Visa or MasterCard instead of Target or GameStop? Is there a downside to going that route?
Google "manufactured spending." Lots of people do that, but nobody talks about it.

I totally apologize if my response came off that way or made you feel as if you didn't want to put in the effort. I wasn't specifically saying YOU didn't want to put in the effort; I'm saying that in general if we just have a "here you go, that's it!" post, it's not worth it to those of us who have put in a lot of effort. Also, I think it opens up a big "can of worms" since it varies so much for each individual.

But I am being honest, there are multiple other people who have come here with the same idea and I think it's just to the point where it's like "The answer is NO!" -- So again sorry if my tone came off accusatory or anything, that wasn't my intention. I hope that you figure out the process and that it works for you. :)

For your GCM question - There is no discount from GCM, you will see the banner (or email) for the "Bonus" Ebay bucks - 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x, and you'll see the bonus bucks reflected in your account when you're checking out and once you've purchased. So the GCM product will look exactly the same!

Thank you. I appreciate that. :)

A lot of us here have given up on Raise and similar gift card reseller sites because (1) the discounts for Target have not been very good lately, usually < 5%; and (2) you can't know where the gift cards you're buying from these sites come from, and whether there's any fraud associated with them. Instead, many of us buy Target cards as a starting point from our local grocery stores when they run a fuel bonus, or eBay when they run an eBay Bucks bonus or other sale.

Like @Vernie822, @JKalai, @wendow, @Marionnette et al. already noted, buying from GCM really only makes sense when eBay is running an eBay Bucks promotion, which offers 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x bonus Bucks (or 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% eBay "cash" back that you can use towards eBay purchases, including more gift cards, next quarter). You can earn up to $100 per transaction, and up to $500 eBay Bucks per account, per quarter. So for example, if you were to buy $900 in Target cards from GCM, you'd pay $7.94 extra in shipping, but potentially get $54 eBay Bucks on a 3x bonus, $72 on a 4x bonus, and $90 on a 5x bonus.

Right now, in April, we're in a redemption month, which is when eBay Bucks certificates have been mailed out for the quarter that just closed and we have 30 days to spend the Bucks. Because this is a "spend" month, we don't expect to see very many eBay Bucks offers. Come May and June, you can probably expect to see offers 3-4 a month, or almost every week. Because GCM mails out Target cards via USPS/UPS, your funds will be tied up in transit for about a week after each purchase. Sometimes your Target cards will be delivered in time for you to turn them around at Target by buying eBay cards to use for that week's promo, or you'll be stewing with the knowledge that your funds are out there and you're missing out on a new bonus.

Because of these logistics, you have to consider how much money you want to tie up in gift cards so they're available to "churn" whenever there's a good deal somewhere, how you want to allocate your funds between different retailers like Target and eBay, and which offers to jump on (because for example, if you spend all your funds on a 3x bonus and your cards are still in transit when a 5x bonus drops, you'll feel very silly). You'll also have to consider how much volume you're doing because volume is the best way to maximize your eBay Bucks earnings and Target savings, but it's also the surest way to get yourself noticed and potentially banned by Target as a "reseller."

This is rad. Thank you so much. I signed up for the bonus bucks program. Do I get notifications automatically about bonus bucks promotions from eBay?

I have a best buy rewards certificate to use. I've tried using it online to purchase gift cards, but it didn't work. I thought I saw someone mention that it did work in the store to buy gift cards? Can anyone confirm?
Yes, I have been able to buy Disney gift cards in store with a BB gift card. I only did a small amount though, $100. The cashier at the time hesitated a bit but I just played it off like it was no big deal and asked her to try for me because there wasn't anything else in BB that I could use my GC on right then. It went through just fine. I have read that others have had problems so I may have just been lucky. Oh, and I was at BB this past weekend and they did not have eBay cards, but they still carried Disney. Good luck!

Trying to find a pattern in what orders get cancelled:

Late on April 6: Went through Ebates to Target and ordered one $200 Ebay gift card, one $100 Ebay gift card and a pair of kitchen tongs.
Middle of the night, April 7: Order cancelled; but Ebates credited ($5.81)

Afternoon, April 7: Went directly to Target site and reordered the Ebay gift cards (no tongs). They arrived 3.5 hours later.

Middle of the night, April 8: Ordered cancelled, but Ebates credited ($3.91)

Noon, April 10: Went directly to Target and ordered two $100 Ebay gift cards.
A few minutes later, went through Swagbucks and placed separate order for the tongs (I really wanted those tongs! ::yes:: )

1.5 hours later, received the gift cards and a notice of shipment for the tongs.

So far I cannot determine a pattern for cancellations: is it time of day? amount of purchase? using Ebates? adding an item that requires physical delivery? The cycle of the moon? Who knows? :confused3

In the end I got everything I wanted, it just took a few tries. I also earned $9.72 in Ebates even though my Ebates orders did not go through. (oh, and I earned 11 Swagbucks )

I don't know. I ordered three $200 EBay cards and the new Star Wars around 6:30p yesterday. Went through fine.

Today I ordered two $200 and one $50 EBay card with a swimsuit around 11a. Cancelled.

Tried again with the same ebays and two pairs of shorts. Cancelled almost instantly. I'll wait a few days now.

This is rad. Thank you so much. I signed up for the bonus bucks program. Do I get notifications automatically about bonus bucks promotions from eBay?

Usually, although the promotions tend to start a few hours before the emails are sent out for some reason.

Most of us just check in here regularly - if there's a promo on, 9 times out of 10, I hear it here first.

As an additional footnote, not everyone is eligible for every promotion. Some people get most of them, some just get a few, and others none at all. Nobody knows exactly how ebay decides who does and doesn't get offered a particular promotion.

I'm pretty sure every time I've had an order cancelled, any other order of any kind I try to put through on the same day has been cancelled, too. So now once I get a cancellation notice, I wait until at least the next calendar day.

Signing up should be enough to get you notices and eBay Bucks. Fingers crossed for you. Some people here report not getting bonus bucks offers even if they are signed up. These offers can be somewhat targeted and not necessarily everyone will get every offer, but most do. I think I've gotten every offer. If you don't receive the offers, you can try unselecting all the email/promotional communications options, logging out and then back in, and reselecting it all. People have said that worked to get offers to their accounts.

If all goes well, you should receive an email from eBay when they offer a promo (which usually runs for 2 days) and/or see a banner promoting the bonus bucks on their homepage, both of which would tell you to click to activate the offer for your account. Honestly though, I often find out when there's an eBay Bucks offer from this thread before checking eBay's site or eBay sends out their email.

Has anyone experienced a delay in shipping from ebay for Target cards lately? I ordered 3 $150 cards very early Friday morning and got the confirmation and receipt for payment by 6 AM. They are not showing as shipped yet. Is this normal? All my other orders , even during the extra bucks promos shipped within a day.

Thank you for that suggestion. I tried that and it still only shows the one $50 card. I am going to give it 48 hours from when I ordered and if they don't show up by then I will call. I did not go through ebates so there is no issue and it has nothing to do with that. I think the order is just in some weird limbo land now.

Wait until 24 hours after ship date/time. If you have not received it by then or you don't see it on target ecards site, then call target CS.

Will do, the first card came quickly like they normally do. Now, the other three have said they shipped but only one of those other sent an email confirming shipping and none of the three sent the egift card link. I am not getting nervous about it. Hopefully target will resend them or rectify it somehow because that is $250! The four gift cards were all ordered in one single order yesterday.

The order I placed today for 2 $100 and 1 $50 eBay GC was cancelled. I'll wait a day or two and then try again for a $200 card, since that went through last week. I just wish there was some rhyme or reason to which orders get cancelled and which don't because this is turning into a frustrating process.

I went through a really rough patch of cancelations recently and that made me nervous and frustrated every time. I agree with @PerfessorZ, if an order gets canceled I can pretty much expect all my orders that day will be canceled and I need to take a break (really hard on those bonus days!). Fortunately, with the lull in bonuses, I've been able to take it slow and haven't had any problems or cancelations when ordering my most recent $1000 of eBay cards. Even the fickle $200 cards didn't give me any problems.
