Ditto. No offense to any possible Gamestop employees here, but some of them take their jobs way too seriously. It's good to start small to get a feel of the leniency of some of your local locations.

A bit frustrated that Paypal keeps flagging my account when I try to purchase Gamestop GC even after I spoke to the 3 times. Oh well, at least I was able to get a couple of Gamestop orders in... would have loved an extra $50 on Ebay bucks. I'm going to just end up purchasing Target GC through GCM. Just needed to vent!!! I recently read the warnings about Target gcs balances being drained, so I've decided to use all of my gcs in full, whether on Target or eBay. Today, I received my GCM cards in the mail, made a 10 minute run to Target, and combined the cards for the amount I knew I would spend at eBay.

It is an extra step, and I'm probably spending some out of pocket as well, but it makes me feel more comfortable.

Thanks for sharing this split gc issue. It makes me feel better for taking these extra steps.

These were my eBay gift cards. I intended to use my $25 eBay GC for only shipping costs - hoping I could pull from it each time to cover shipping, not knowing (of course) this would be the result. What a pain the eBay GCs are BUT I guess the eBay bucks make it worth it in the end.

When your target orders get cancelled does it happen right a way or does it take a few hours.

I placed an order for 4 x200 ebay cards around 4 hours ago and still have no update.

when my orders go through they take 30-40 min to arrive, is this your first time? usually if first time orders take longer.

No I've been doing this for a few months normally my orders also go through pretty quickly but the last two I've placed haven't gone through but I've also not received a notification they have been cancelled

i've had an order canceled (not gift cards) and it took days. I received the email confirming the order and I didn't think about it and I never received anything saying it was canceled i had to check online and sure enough

If it goes through at the store, could there be any issues at the corporate level, like banning? My mom took in $2,500 in GS GCs and got eBay with 5 $500 transactions. She said it was the smoothest transaction of this entire process, so I hope we found a good location.

This was happening to my mom too. She finally got $1k purchased, but it took a few phone calls. She's going to use the converted Ebay to purchase Target from GCM tonight, and I'm hoping everything goes ok after he problems with the GS GCs earlier.

I placed one this afternoon and it was cancelled 30 minutes later. I put in another one after the first was cancelled, and it's been almost 4 hours and it's still just showing "order created." Not sure if this one will get cancelled as well, but it looks like my hopes of getting in on this 5X eBay Bucks promo are slim to none.

I'm not sure.

I know district managers do go through accounts from time to time as the system flags accounts with too many of the same game traded in. I don't really try that much as I don't want to find out.

I am very unimpressed with TopCashBack. Only half of my transactions were "tracked" for money back. They are unable to do anything because it was Cardpool. It also says it could take months if they could look for it. Really? Ebates can fix it within minutes.

I never got TopCashBack to credit my Cardpool orders, so I gave up with them. If they can't track those orders, I had no confidence in them tracking anything else.

Managed to get my last order of Target GC from GCM in time to convert and re-buy, plus $200 using the leftover GC red card savings from previous orders. I didn't quite max out the $500 of eBay bucks, but I feel pretty good about these churns for a first round. Any possibility (historically) of a 4-5X eBay Bucks promo in April?

I went on an adventure today! Even though my big orders from 3/23&3/24 haven't arrived, I scrounged together $300 to buy Ebay gc at Gamestop for the 1st time. Traded in an old wii that was collecting dust,went to Sears and bought Gamestop gcs w/gc and used the $100 Target from 3/22 (C15SPRING) $15 off that,of course,turned to Ebay gcs. I kinda joined Powerup Pro for free because i got an extra 10% for the wii +10 extra points for purchase.

I just bought more Gamestop gcs from Ebay/Cardency through snail mail. PPDG didn't have any egift cards. I think you all bought all them up. Anyone else use Cardency? I wonder how long they're gonna take to arrive.

if you still havent gotten your ebay cards from target.com, i would just take the hit and go to a target and buy it in store. 10x bucks worth more than 5%.

Anyone ever received an error on eBay saying "You’ve reached a temporary buying restriction. Please contact us if you need more information"?

I only made 2 eBay purchases today one for $750 in GameStop GC's and then a second for $250 in gameStop GC's (didn't want to push the paypal_digital_gifts $1000/30day limit). So, I was just trying to complete today's churn with 2 separate orders, one for $500 in Target GC's through GCM and the other for $550 in Target GC's from GCM... On the phone now.
