If you got the offer, when you log into your Ebay account it will be right there on the front page typically. I didn't get this so I can't specify as to what it looks like this time but they're usually green and all you have to do is click where indicated to activate the offer.

Correct. On the front page there is a big banner (it scrolls through to multiple ads/offers) and it says something like "Slam Dunk" 5x Ebay bucks. You may not get it, though. This is the first time I've ever received 5x.

1) Is there a per transaction limit on eBay bucks? I think it is $100 per transaction?
2) Someone mentioned Swagbucks on these transactions through eBay. I didn't think Swagbucks paid cashback on giftcards? I've always used Ebates.

You cannot get Swagbucks from ebay when purchasing Ebay gift cards...you can for other gift cards. I have over 2000 swagbucks pending for previously purchased giftcards. The only kicker is that they take forever to credit. I think they stay pending for like 120 days. If they are 2 swagbucks, I do that over ebates because it is twice as much. Otherwise I do ebates.

Could you be at your gift card spending limit? That sounds like the error message when you've hit your limit. Either 5,000 in 6 months for verified accounts or 500 in 30 days for non-verified accounts.

I was also having that problem a few weeks ago. Try logging out and logging back in. Someone here suggested that awhile ago and it worked for me.

I'm having the same problem. I'm nowhere near the $5K limit on my PayPal account. In fact, it won't even accept the code for a partially-used eBay GC that I have, so I know it's not an issue with the GC not being activated.

ETA: I changed from Chrome to Firefox and now I can apply the partially-used GC but my other eBay GCs are not ready for use yet. At least I'm not getting the "invalid code" message now.

I use Swagbucks for my eBay purchases, too. Right now, it's 2%, but you have keep an eye on it because the 2% is a "special" - the default is 1%. Payout is 75 days from the day of your ebay purchase.

Reasons why you (I) actually get more than 2%, though:

1. Shop and Earns on Swagbucks count towards your daily goals, and make it easy to hit your 2nd goal when you might not otherwise (earning some extra $ due to hitting bonus goals). How much extra this earns you depends on your goals and how much activity you generally do.
2. If you and your spouse or other family member are linked via a referral, Shop & Earn SBs credit for referrals, earning you an extra 10%. So 2% becomes effectively 2.2%.

5X eBay Bucks...AND....my last order of a $150 Target card just showed up in the mail today. I should be getting a second one in the mail tomorrow so I will turn that one around too, hopefully. I thought about just waiting until tomorrow and ordering (2) $150 cards from eBay to save on the shipping, but since I work 5a-5p tomorrow, I am not 100% sure I will be able to get the eBay gift card ordered/received in time. On top of that, I don't want to risk them selling out. I just ordered my $150 in eBay gift cards from Target (with some pencil erasers....to go with the pencils and sharpener I bought on my last two orders) and I hope to order the next $150 Target card this afternoon.

If I am successful today and tomorrow, I will have $70 in eBucks to spend in April.

This is good to know, as I've been checking every morning, but it's always been earlier than 8:00.
